Title: The first and last pony you got

I thought this would make a fun thread :) Pictures are encouraged!

Who was your very first pony? And who was the last pony you got?

Baby Firefly was my first. She was either a birthday or Christmas gift from my grandmother.

The last pony I got was G4 Superhero Applejack who was a birthday gift from my mom.

First ever was G1 Butterscotch

Last was G3 Pegasus Snowel yaiy!!! (that means I haven't bought an actual Hasbro Pony this year yet)

First - Honestly not sure. G2 Ivy is the one I "count" as my first. Cool Breeze was my first G1. G1 Pony Bride is the one that really gave me the collecting bug and got me started.

Most recent - Funko POP Bluebelle! Got some others in the mail right now, but Bluebelle is the last one that arrived. If we're only counting "proper" Hasbro ponies, then G4 Reboot Cheerilee.

Oh boy, I cant even remember who my very first pony was. I guess I'll choose when I started collecting as an adult :)

First g1 was Baby Starflower back in 2013
Last one was Cool Breeze 2021

My first ponies shared with my sisters were Baby Pink Sunsparkle and Hidden Treasure. My first ponies as a proper collector were Starbeam Twinkle, Blossomforth, and Twilight Sparkle.
The last pony I got was the Sunny Starscout that comes in a lantern!

My first was rainbow pony windy, for Christmas 1984.

My most recent was almost certainly a basic fun pony, I don't think there have been any others in a while. It would have been BF Posey I think.

My first pony was Cotton Candy.  My mom remembers picking her out at the store  for me.  My newest ponies are the BF Twinkle Eyes.  I got all of them at the same time. :D

Whoops, I must correct myself! Two ponies arrived today while I was out. So, let me amend my answer -

Most recent (I'm not done yet either!): Retro Rainbow Applejack and Rainbow Dash

FINALLY got them! I dunno why but these two were just *impossible* to get a hold of, been looking for them for most of 2021...! Go fig that they're the two I wanted the most out of the set, as well. :p But they're here now, at last.

I see a lot of Windys listed!  My first childhood pony was Windy as well!  But when I started collecting as an adult, it was baby YoYo, in 1995 or 96?  I found her at a flea market, and she reignited the spark!  I think my last pony was tales Starlight several months ago.  I got her here from another arena member!

I don't know for sure who my first was. Blossom is the first pony I'm pictured with around age two or three, and Starshine is the earliest pony memory I have - got her at the flea market around the same age, I would guess.

My most recent acquisitions were Basic Fun! Fizzy and Gingerbread at the same time. If we're being extra technical, Fizzy was last because I had to ask them to check the back for her at Cracker Barrel.

If we're talking about my first pony EVER, I received Applejack, Bow Tie, Cotton Candy, and Lemon Drop all together the Christmas I turned five. If we're talking about the first pony I got when I started collecting recently, it was Moonstone. The last pony I got was Blue Belle, I believe.

The first pony I got was Blossom. I'd wanted one for Christmas and didn't get one so I remember when I did! But not the year ... 1984? I've still got her.

The last was today: Daisy Dancer Prom Queen. She has lavender hair and Blossom is all lavender, some symmetry there. Her factory curls don't look as good as in the photo and careful washing will be required.

aw! My first pony ever was tuneful :)
And the last pony I bought is Shady! She's waiting to be mailed to me though - the seller came down with possible covid, so we're waiting on a test result before I get her ^^'

no pics right now, sadly. >< I used to have a bunch of cute pics of my tuneful, but they're on an external harddrive that I can't get to right now ^^'

My first pony was either the Sweet Celebrations family or my glow in the dark yellow fakie that I loved to death and good Lord I miss her. The last pony I got was I think my 35th anniversary replica of Moonstone a few years ago now. Think it was in 2019.

I think my first was a second hand so soft for gusty they are very worn out, and last as of this past year was a light up tempest shadow.

My very fist pony ever was Cotton Candy (Italy version) way back in the day.
The last pony I got was Critter Creation Izzy Moonbow who I ordered on Black Friday and received in December

My most recent was Baby Lucky Leaf and Baby Leafy, who just arrived the other day!  Baby Leafy was one I've been after for years and I finally just splurged on him.  :lookround:

My first was a G1Snuzzle she was I believe a just because gift from my parents. Since I always loved horses they thought I might like her. Spoiler I did.
Fast forward to many many years later and my most recent pony is actually a G4 2 pack with Rainbow Dash and Skywishes that I received from the wonderful Loa as my prize for placing in the Halloween Coloring Contest, they arrived last month.

It's hard to say who my first pony was. It could've been Starglow, or either G3 Rainbow Flash or G3 Petal Blossom.

My most recent pony was my Disney Parks Pinkie Pie dressed as Cinderella MIB.

My very first was G1 Baby Sleep Tight - I found her in a toy bin at a small thrift store. This was in the early 2000s; I must have been four / five at the time.

My latest was a group purchase - Rockin Beats Sweet Notes & Pretty Beat, and Tootie Tails. I used to own the latter as a kid, but sold her when I downsized my collection a few years ago.

i don't remember the first pony I got as a child. probably one of the sea ponies. the first pony I got when i started collecting was Little Flitter. the last pony was Dutch Baby Schoolbag.

First (if you don't count Sparkler, who I received as a birthday gift from a friend before I was into ponies and then promptly lost) was Baby Blossom, Christmas of 1985. Most recent (if you don't count BF ponies) was Clever Clover, whom I found last summer at a garage sale for 50 cents.
