Lilly Lightlys Dress - Removable? - Eye SLIME? (Updated)

found her at thrift today!  wondering ... has anyone tried to remove her dress? it seems connected.

It's connected with wires and such to make the dress itself light up.
I thought mine was ugly so I removed it.
The horn will still work and her eyes will still blink if you take off the dress. Just snip the wire leading to the dress

She does have a big ole' battery compartment on one side that's kinda ugly, but the other side looks awesome and IHMO much better than that big ugly dress.

ya when I found her I was amazed! "She still has her dress!" but then was like , "oh it's connected".

I just found Lily Lightly at a thrift shop, too! But I don't really mind the dress - I think I'll leave it on. It looks quite nice when it lights up.

I've seen her without the dress, and I didn't much like what I saw. Why don't you do a picture search and see whether you like her more with or without the dress? I think once the dress is removed, it would be pretty difficult to put it on again.

You can take the dress off, but it will no longer light up.  You can put it back on, though, like a normal piece of ponywear. 

She does have a symbol under her dress (on one side only, like all G3s).  On the other side of her body she has a panel for putting in her batteries.

Yes, as others have said it can be removed but it does restrict her to very much a one sided display pony and you loose the light up element.

I suppose you could remove that dress and put a different piece of pony wear on her.  The batteries on ours are dying, we shall see how easy it is to find replacements.

I got some off it off/out with a qtip.  it seems like flavored lip gloss.
