Free Cat litter!

If only they'd do offers like that over here! My baby has a poorly tummy (kitty version of IBS), and he goes through that stuff quite quickly..

Brightside, what's wrong with your kitties tummy?  Does she leave super smelly piles in the litter box? Misty used to have feline IBD. If I didn't clean out her litter box just after she left a pile, the whole house would smell.  Heck, it smelled so bad, she would even bury it!  She took care of business and bolted.  This past January, I switched her to a raw diet and all of those tummy troubles cleared up.  I can go three days without cleaning out the litter box now and you'd never know it! The vet was really impressed at last weeks yearly checkup with how much better she's doing now that she's on raw. Maybe a food switch could help your baby as much as it did mine.  The raw costs about $1 a day, but it's a lot cheaper than the vet bills for medicine to clear up her tummy troubles!

He's sometimes fine, but sometimes (when he gets episodes of it) he has to go to the kitty bathroom a couple of times a day.. and he has to rush. It can vary from being normal to almost completely liquified, and he gets quite distressed about it: he's a ridiculously clean kitty, he even folds the paper over in his litter box! It doesn't make him smell too fantastic either, so my mom has to break out the baby shampoo and give that poor baby a bath.

When he's having an attack, we usually give him rice mixed in with some chicken (kitty doctor said it'd help), or fresh chicken / turkey or tuna (the kind in brine). It usually seems to help him out. Sometimes we try him without wet food and simply on dry, and that works also. It doesn't help that he has the appetite of a tiger, and eats things which are not nice to little tummies like his! He's been like this ever since he was tiny, so I'm thinking it's something he was born with (he gets a lot of cystitis too).
