I like the new packaging, however, as someone who works stock I know that they wont stay together without some monster glue holding that bubble on. So sick of receiving items for stock that have already fallen out of their packaging before arriving at the store! Also storing them will be a pain given their non-box shape. It's nice to see Hasbro becoming more eco-friendly, but I'm sure there was a better solution than this. =/

I give myself $50 a month when I have a job, $20 when I don't. If I don't spend that much, I push it over to the next month, or if I spend over, I take it out of next months money. Spending over happens most often when I have a lot of free time to be walking around in stores. You find rare/HTF stuff when you're at the store every-other day. XD

These are the most blatant MH ripoffs I've seen to date, the one girl even has Draculaura's sig boots! Also, that website is just...terrible; coconut comment x100. They'd be kinda cute if their cheeks weren't so sunken in and...well, that whole two faces on one head thing.  :( But since the body size/shape and even the feet are similar to MH, I feel clothes swapping coming on, assuming their clothes are decent quality.

My Walmart has 2 boxes, however, upon sifting through the open box to find ponies I'm searching for, I noticed about half the box missing the little identification numbers on the bag! Have they changed the packaging to keep the ponies a secret or was that just a fluke? Anybody else find bags with no numbers lately?

I save the plastic windows from toy packaging (especially MH, since they're big) or if I run out of those, paper plates.

I suggest brown hair for the first pony, in a shade that works well with the peg leg, with maybe some gold or red streaks in there?

As for the second...I like to browse color palettes on colourlovers.com when I don't know what to do. Maybe try experimenting with colors you don't usually use?

*A* So pretty and rainbowy and OMG. I love Lisa Frank. Agreeing with babyblueducky, I would totally be up for a LF swap.

Me and my roommate are interested, we have a busy schedule, so we might not be able to make it, but we live in Wausau and my truck seats 5 (we can seat 6 in her car, but it's broken right now) if anybody needs a ride. There's a possibility she'll take her son with, so we might have one less seat. Location wont matter since we're pretty central, but we have lots of other plans for spring/summer, so finding a date that works for us will be difficult.

Cupcake is easy to find here, but I haven't seen Blossomforth for months!

The Dollhouse / Pinky Street
« on: March 08, 2012, 12:11:03 PM »
I was being bad and looking at toy websites again and I came across Pinky Street. They're so cute! I think I might have gained a new obsession, oops.  They're fairly cheap, have interchangable parts, and would be okay for me to share with the children in the house without worrying about their safety.

So, do any of you collect Pinky St? Show me pictures!

This needs to be a show. Right now. I would pay ridiculous amounts of money to make it happen.

My roommate was shopping earlier today, and swung by the toy section just to quick check, she told me there were 2 Neferas! Even though we really don't have the money for it, we took this as incentive to go toy hunting. I got one of the Neferas at Target, and SS Goulia at Walmart (there were Sweet 1600 dolls sans Frankie stocked at both stores, and Cleo's vanity at Walmart). We saw the price posted for Cupid, and asked if they had any more coming in, the guy who checked for us said it was weird that they didn't.

Other than my lucky finds, stock is terrible. Lots of bare shelves, and the endcap at Walmart is half empty, half filled with non-MH merch.

Funny that I'd find a Wave 3 doll before Spectra or Abbey...

I found an empty box at the Wausau/Rib Mountain Walmart in Wisconsin. I'll post again when they restock.
