Title: ~Draw Together~ Copper Glow, Prince Firefly, and Ivy! ~September 2018~

I decided to draw Ivy, I'm pretty sure I had her as a kid in Mcdonalds form before I even really knew what MLP was. I guess on a technicality she could be considered my first pony! Regardless I have always loved her color scheme and she's always kind of been the main face of G2 for me.

I don't think I've ever actually tried to draw in a G2 style before. :P Her face is so dopey but she looks happy and I didn't have the heart to erase her! I think I'll try and draw the other 2 ponies at some point this month, I love drawing the long legs for this generation!

I can't wait to see what everyone else comes up with! :)

Moonbreeze: Your art is always so beautiful! I love that you can really capture the G2 style, yet your art is always still distinctively your own. That's such a neat skill to have!

I worked at an art museum a while back and we had a Kehinde Wiley exhibit with us for a while. It was by far my favorite exhibit to work and I really wanted to try my hand at doing something in that style, but I'm not good at realism, so Prince Firefly here seemed like he might fit the intricate portrait style well!

September is still fairly young, so I'm going to try and get something done for Copper Glow before the month is over!

I can't wait to see some more art from everyone! :) G2 as a whole truly doesn't get enough love!

Thank you, both. I've been out of the pony business for so long, I want to draw more again.
I wanted his mane and tail to be magical like G4 royalty :lol: I figure a neon yellow flame would look cool on him.

Really nice. I love pencil drawings. Don't worry about the symbol its great xD.

I kinda imagined Ivy as a flirty sort of character so I gave her hair a little volume and elegance :good:

She is a bit of a diva, it really fits her!

I love how we interpret the G2s. There is not a lot to work with backstory wise, so we end up with different characters.
