Other Ways of Payment?

Hi y'all
I'm just wondering if anyone here on the Arena will take other forms of payment that isn't Paypal (going through some Paypal difficulties right now  )

Back in the day alternate forms of payment were commonplace, but not so much anymore with how simple and relatively safe PP is.  LOL  I remember back in college I was selling a bunch and I was getting money orders, checks, and cash all the time.  Those were the easy options back then! 

For yourself AND potential sellers, the next best thing to PP is a money order.  Checks can be disputed (and have been more times than anyone would think), cash can be stolen, and Western Union transfers cannot be disputed by either party.  For me personally, I will only accept alternate forms of payment from people I have either dealt with before or who I recognize have stellar feedback and reputations.

Back in the day, I sent concealed cash out all the time... but with international transactions so commonplace now, it's just not that easy. international money orders are an option, but it takes forever to sent the money order, cash/deposit it, clear it, then ship ponies out. Paypal is almost instant for the most part, and ponies can almost always be shipped out the next working day. You also double the possibility of lost mail with a MO, because something has to be shipped both ways, but I suppose it's like trading, it's always a risk.

Sure, there are plenty, but you and the other party to your transaction would both have to be signed up for them, and a lot of people aren't signed up for anything else.

Well, they charged the wrong card when my boyfriend ordered me Galaxy from ebay and there's like a debt on of $50, so until that clears up (Starclan knows when) we won't be using anything Paypal related
His bank is supposedly fighting with Paypal :o (they won't give him anymore details)
