I'm betting that Dr. Whale is from the same kingdom as Aurora, Phillip, and Mulan. As to who he is.. Dr. Frankenstein maybe? Im trying to think of doctor figures in stories and I can't think of many.

Nice to see the side of Regina that has just a little bit more heart...
Can't wait to see how her Mom interracts with Mary Margaret/Emma and the rest that remain...

new theory: Sounds to me like Rumpelstiltskin may be Regina's father?? We thought Regina was bad look out Cora is on the loose!

I think Cora is the girl who spins straw into gold with Rumple's help and almost has her daughter stolen from her as an infant but guesses his name right so Regina is not stolen. But I am just guessing.

It was a very neat episode all in all. I would like I see them go back to their world and I'm glad they told Geppetto about his son, but where'd he go?!

Good guess!

If you remember, spinning is something that Rumple used to do and something Gold does for a hobby. Im not convinced that Cora is the one who spun gold.

Rumple's wife left him before because he was such a timid, cowardly man. If Cora was his wife, then good chance that Regina is his daughter. Though she would have to be younger than his son.. What was his name? Bay?

Cora is a millers daughter. Regina is the baby he wanted to take. I believe he did for a period of time. Cora made a "lot" of deals.

I really don't think he is Rumple's father. At all.
