I like Legos and think they’re fun. I grab them second hand when I find them (even itty bitty bits at the bottom of “the bins” Goodwill outlets). I kept all my brothers’ legos from childhood. My grandmother still has the basic bucketful we played with as kids. My daughter recently got the Disney Princess horse stable set. For what these sets cost, there is very little to them. The sets have gotten so…bare, sparse? It’s just the frame of the front of a stable basically, though it’s still an expensive set. I wanted the Disney 100 Peter Pan set but it’s over $100 and not very big. I like them and think they’re neat but think they’re way overpriced.
It would be cool get a vintage castle set. I have seen haunted house sets, but again, super expensive. Shein or Temu have what looks like a cemetery and witch pumpkin hut. I have also seen HP sets. My husband still has his childhood sets put together.

I used to be a much bigger candle person. Since I have had kids though, I am lucky if I get my seasonal decorations out, let alone seasonal candles.
I like fresh fall scents-leaves, crisp air, and woody scents like bonfire and fireside, occasionally fresh brewed coffee, cinnamon and pumpkin.
Spring I prefer florals, champagne and rose, sweets/sugar
Summer I prefer fruity like strawberries, lemons, and fresh, outdoorsy scents that remind me of summer days and days spent at the lake
Winter-I like pine, snow/cold, Christmas cookies, and mint
My favorite candles are from Bath and Body Works and Yankee Candle. I also like the wall flower plug ins from B&BW. I will also use Febreze room sprays. One of my favorite ones for fabrics was Downey Unstoppables in Shimmer but the quit making it.
I hate things like patchouli and too spiced like clove and pumpkin spice. I like the smell of rain and thunderstorms (Yankee Candle has one called Storm Front, which is wonderful), horses, leather, freshly baked cookies and bread, cocoa butter, vanilla, lavender, lilacs, and hyacinths.
Oh and I love Bombshell and Tease and their many derivatives from Victoria Secret. Bath and Body Works: Gingham, Gingham Gorgeous, among others, usually one time editions.
Jergens original cherry almond scent and talc powder remind me of my maternal grandmother. Sand and Sable reminds me of my mom, though she doesn’t use it anymore. Red perfume was so heavy but my paternal grandmother always wore it. Pert Plus shampoo always reminds me of my dad.

For me, it will always be Kenner Littlest Pet Shop. I have quite a collection including some rare sets, all complete. I'd love to continue collecting them and having a place to display them would be nice.
My best friend as a kid and I had almost all the sets between the two of us. We'd set up and play in her basement and they'd take up about half the room. We're still friends and talk about LPS sometimes  She still has all of hers too.
My first one was the Dalmatian with the carry case. I named him Sparky. He shows his age and how loved he was, he's missing some spots that were rubbed off over time.
The last time I looked them up on eBay, the price had come down a lot from when I was buying them. I should consider starting up again. Really I'm only missing a few, but they are very HTF. My grail is the alternate Happy Pups that was sold later in the line.

I love G1 Kenner LPS too! I don’t have them all but still quite a collection, now about half and half from childhood and as an adult collector. Since it is probably my second largest collection after MLP that I actively seek out, it probably is my next favorite. I just collect so many vintage toys. I actually have mine displayed in my ponyroom. My daughter loves to get into them and mess them all up. @BlackCurtains: do you have pictures of yours?! My first was the Dalmatian too! I named him Pongo and took him everywhere. My second was the first edition parrot in cage. I remember getting the 2nd edition Petshop play case for a birthday. What is that alternate one you were talking about? I have a very specific list of what’s left that I still want too. Oh and Monster High.

I didn’t know they were in the episodes! I am guilty of owning but not watching the G1 MLP episodes. They are my favorite twin set. I got one of them during childhood and the other I searched out as an adult collector. They are my favorite color combinations-yellow body with fading pink hair. I put them as babies of Red Roses and Ice Crystal.

Yes, the US’s lack of nationally required PAID maternity leave is frustrating at best. It’s wonderful that the Netherlands requires 6 weeks BEFORE and 12 after. Is it paid? We get 12 weeks job protection (able to return to same position) by our Family and Medical Leave Act but it is unpaid unless your employer offers some pay for it and/or have short term disability insurance.
I got 8 weeks paid from my employer and STD with a little over a week paid by my remaining PTO. My last 3 weeks were unpaid. Since I had used part of my FMLA in June last year, only 8 weeks of my 12 were protected under FMLA and the rest were a personal leave. I am not going to lie, half expected them to make negative changes to my job before I came back since it wasn’t protected. My friend was basically pushed out of her job because 6 of her 12 weeks after delivery were not FMLA because her supervisor made her start it earlier in her last 6 weeks of pregnancy because she was having preterm labor. We don’t have obligatory holiday either unless offered by our employer. I am so jealous of these things in other countries.
Anyway, I worked up until delivery, which is basically expected in the US. I work at an OBGYN clinic and there has to be a really good medical reason for a doctor to put you out of work before delivery and it can take away from leave after delivery. 12 weeks is not enough for after. Medically, 6 weeks is given for a vaginal delivery and 8 for a c-section for recovery. Those who do not qualify for FMLA or whose employer doesn’t offer maternity leave or don’t have STD, they may not get much leave at all and no pay.
I delivered at 38w4d for both my kids, spontaneously for my first and induced with my second. Every pregnancy and individual is different but some women deliver around the same time, whether before or after their due date. Only about 10% of women actually deliver on their due date. Not sure how doctors work in other countries but our doctors get nervous if their patients get more than a week overdue due to increased risks.
Hopefully, that was pertinent to your post. I could go on and on given my employment.

Kit Kat, chocolate covered marshmallow candy, pumpkin spice anything Allergies/Sensitivities: I do not have any known food allergies. I am very sensitive to cigarette smoke and hate stuff with cigarette smell or taste (food). Pets These guys appreciate goodies too! Cherokee: 33 year-old Paint mare. She can only have forage based edibles due to laminitis. Anubis: 14 year-old male black domestic shorthair. He is allergic to beef. Neelix: 5 year-old male black and gray tabby domestic shorthair. A note on acceptable conditions: I am not a MIB/MOC collector.[/s] I don't like ponies with tail rust, missing manes (haircuts ok, just no baldies, mohawks or hack jobs) or tails, smooze, cancer, amputees, bad regrind or fading, chew marks, head/body mismatch, major permanent marks or mostly missing/smeared symbols, or smeared eyes. I also like ponies that are supposed to have pink hair, to have pink hair (ex: SS Twilight, Posey, etc.). Otherwise I am not a terribly picky collector, unless it states on my wishlist something specific about a specific pony. I am okay with hair that is a little dry and frizzy (even though wouldn't mind having their hair done before I get them  since I can't do hair to save my life  ). I prefer that my ponies are able to stand up on their own unless of course they aren't supposed to (sea ponies lol). I am okay with broken earrings on SHS and mechanisms that don't work (BnG-as long as the tail is not horrendously short). Writing under hooves is ok. For swaps I do not prefer to get upgrades if possible unless otherwise requested or they are included as extras. Well done customs from my list done by a reputable artist would be acceptable as part of a swap. What do you like for extras?
