I was on Amazon and saw a complete set of MLP dvd so I bought it for 20 bucks.  A couple days later I went back to track my order to see how close it was to being delivered....that's when I noticed it was coming from Italy and won't work on most USA dvd players!!  Oops.  Not sure what would all be involved in returning it so I figure it's not the first time I wasted 20 dollars.  Maybe for a few more dollars I can frame it and put it on the wall    Probly should hang it right behind the computer so I never do that again  lol.

Just shows it pays to be very careful when buying online. Maybe returning it will be easier than you think and not cost too much for return postage? Worth looking into at least

Still... it's a cool collection piece - Italian MLP DVDs!  I agree, hang them somewhere like people hang vinyl records!

A region-free DVD player isn't that much and if I recall, VLC and other video players on your PC can play all regions with some tweaks. Look into it!

Some dvd players have codes that you can enter to make them region free. Try looking up your make and model in the internet.

BTW I did this too on Amazon. Ordered a book not realizing it was coming from Germany!

Oh dear...easy to do and as others have said I would check to see if your DVD can be coded just in case

I'd like to thank everypony for all the great advice.  Never had the thought of coasters, I actually really like that idea

It is super easy to return through amazon. Once you receive the item, lov into amazon, and go to your account. Follow the steps there to return it, and you can either print a shipping label straight from there or they'll email it to you. Most of the time return shipping is free.
