my Shining Armor is BALDING (edit, i ended up rerooting him PICS!!)

ok so got my wedding castle set in the mail today from BBTS,

and i noticed that straight from the box something was up with SA,

i knew his hair was bad but i didnt think it was this bad!

his darker blue  bits are  shaved  right down to the base!!

and it is very noticable,

have any one else had issues like this with him?
and what should i do about it? 

i didnt want to customize him but i dont think i can live with his hair like this!

ideas any pony?

Shoot :\ I had one with decent hair I'd have been happy to trade, but I just gave him a hair cut.

I think it's just a part of the material his hair is made of and the manufacturing method that there are some pretty severe inconsistencies with his hair.

i might rip it all out and re root him with nylon.
it's have to be a fairly think  reroot tho cause of that grove that this troll hair is sitting in . 

should i notify hasbro and "complain" about this  too ?
i dont want to fart around with a replacement, but  is this the kind of thing that they should know about ?

If you re-root him, I definitely want to see the result, I've been thinking of doing the same thing if I ever get one of those. That troll hair is horrible no matter what condition it's in.

I think it's just the type of hair.  If I get one, I'll be rehairing him with nylon asap.

do you think the colour "afer midnight" would be too dark?

ive got some more blues comming in but i cant recall exactly what i had ordered,
i also have some water nixie on hand still.

It is a bit dark, but of course it depends on how show accurate you want him to be.

I'd say Forget-me-not, Atomic Turquise, and Bobby Blue. The first two are very close to his FS's hair colors, the last would just act a a third shade. I don't have any Bobby Blue on hand though, so I can't fully compare.

i think i have at least 2 of thos colours comming in,  not sure what ones thos.
ill guess ill just have to wait for the order to arive  ,

but yeah i think im definatly going to re hair this guy  and  also give has bro a peace of my mind ,  i want to see what thay have to say on the matter  as he is missinh quite a bit of hair

i got impacient and couldent wait, but in think the hair colours look good on him,
his done with  After midnight and Water nixie.

but at least he dosent look like a balding troll now.
