Title: Fantasy Fillies?
Post by: Terra on September 17, 2014, 01:29:09 PM
Not to be confused with Fashion Star Fillies! (though apparently they were designed by the same artist) http://www.fantasyfillies.com/index.php

I cannot find any information on their value, they seem to have fallen into obscurity.
If anyone is selling them (even if damaged) I may be interested!
These ponies were my favorite equine toy-line as a kid. :)

Hmm!  I think I have one of these!  I will do some searching - shoot me a PM as a reminder, maybe I can find her!

If anyone has come across one of the unicorns, I'd be especially interested. :)

I'm not sure about their value, but the prices I've seen on ebay for them are between $150 (loose) and $250 (MIB). Although those were Buy It Now prices, and I can't recall seeing one for auction.

It's a shame. As a kid I had Cirra, Ala, Jewel, Prisma, Alexis, Zinnia and Electra. I wish I had kept them since its so hard to find any of them now.

I have 3 I found at a rummage sale and scored for $2 each  ^.^ I'm not sure I want to part with them, but expect high prices if you do decide someone who wants to sell

I do have some Star Prancers if you're interested; they're also by Marchon.  (There was a Fantasy Fillies group called Star Prancers, but that's not what I have, sorry.)

I sure hope  over  $100 isn't standard for loose  ones *~*  I just  want to  recover childhood  ponies  ahha... I just bought a light up one from Thunderwing - and I'd hate to think I might of taken advantage of them if they're really worth between 40-150. (I promise  it's not for resale or anything!)

I had prisma as a kid and she was special too me, but I messed her up really bad because I kind of inherently broke everything I touched at that age :k I still have her, but she went under heavy restoration (new paint, new sequins and glitter, apoxysculpt leg) and doesn't have her original Jem horn :((

Just out of curiosity, which of the light-up ones did you buy?

Haley, which I'm pretty sure was the one my sister had as a kid. <3

I have a group of them that I may part with at some point. (It is tempting to keep them!) They definitely appear to be in the $30+ range, even as auctions. This one (http://www.ebay.com/itm/Fashion-Star-Fillies-Clone-Fancy-7-034-Hard-Plastic-Horse-jewels-on-back-Colorful-/171514418906?pt=TV_Movie_Character_Toys_US&hash=item27ef0e56da&nma=true&si=mBKJCiul8HF1%252FsVcrL06BLz7uuI%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557) went for that, even without being advertised correctly. :)

At some point, maybe I'll look into tracking some down. I don't want to pay an arm and a leg for them since I'm saving to pay off student loans, but there are certain ones I miss. I think Cirra & Zinnia are the two I miss most.
