G2 Font?

Does anyone know the G2 font? I've tried finding it with no luck!

I don't think its ever been tracked down unfortunately. I know one of the fonts is on the Friendship Gardens CDROM if you have that? If you dont I can try and dig it out for you.

I had the PC game font installed from the disk but the logo font if that's what you're after, ive never figured out

I asked on a Type forum, and received this answer:

This is a custom logo design.
As for the inspiration for the letters, I see the foxtail _e_ used by Edward Benguiat in ITC Barcelona http://www.myfonts.com/fonts/itc/barcelona/ and a mixture of Barcelona Heavy and Barcelona Heavy Italic for the other letters, modified by adding a foxtail terminated swash to _M_ and two versions of foxtail terminated tails to the italic _y_. Replacement of the dot for _i_ with a heart is the finishing touch to appeal to little girls.

So....there was no real G2 logo font.

Most of the fonts are artist impressions and then over the years fonts have been created around them or they are based from fonts and then have been stylised. That's pretty normal for logos. Cool information you got there!
