That's what I was thinking as well. Is it really a toy? I've always seen chess as more of a teenager/adult game anyway, not something kids would be into. At least I never was XD

I've been playing chess against my Dad since I was 8 or so.  But I admit that's not the norm.  :)

I'm so disappointed :( Honestly I would have figured that such timeless classics like the rubber duck would have been included in the toy hall of fame a LONG time ago and now they were hoping to branch out with other toys that have made a big impact in the collecting world. I guess not. I was really excited that my very two most favorite toys/fandoms were going to be represented.

Actually, this was kind of what I was expecting.  I would have been shocked (though not in a bad way) had TMNT or MLP gotten in before the duck.  But yeah, clarifying the point of the poll would have been nice.
