Some ponies that Hasbro intended to be female just look male to me. Ponies who's hair has been cut sometimes look male to me to, but not always, some still look female even with super short hair. Who would like to post pics of their self proclaimed male ponies? So I mean, ponies that Hasbro intended to be female but you see as male

Ever since I was a small child, I always, ALWAYS pretended Speedy was a male. And still to this day, Speedy has a masculine look to me. As well as Magic Star & Majesty...

oh I LOVE the idea for this thread, there's SOOOOO many ponies I consider "boys" who weren't necessarily labeled as such. I can't even blame it on childhood imagination, since all of my pony collecting has been in my adult life.

Speedy and PartyTime were the 2 I had handy but others I consider boys:

Shady(most ponies in Shady's pose seem like boys to me)

I love to hear peoples different perceptions of ponies and why we decide they are male/female - its so odd sometimes how people come down to the same decision on the same pony.

Personally I can only separate them as per Big Brother/Mountain Boy as boys and everything else as girls. My "herd" as a little girl were largely without gender to be honest I never thought about it so I think that continued on into my collecting! Even the Loving Families "daddy" ponies, I am happy to accept that pose as male only for those ponies cause Hasbro says so...*I may have been brain washed *

No    Party Time is not a male.  Just pony's we imagined as males when we were younger or now.  I have always though Party time looked a little like a boy too because of the mold and she's orange.

Mine were SS Shadey (I know she's hot pink) but that body mold I have always thought looked  a little boyish.  I guess Hasbro thought so too since the Meadowsweet, Berrytown, and Sunbright's Family Daddy's all had that mold. 

I also used to pretend SS Northstar was a boy.  He was the husband to SS Hippity Hop and there baby was BBE Lofty.     I loved making up my own happy little families with random ponies.

In finnish dub Gusty's voice was male, so in my mind she's always been a male. Even now I have trouble imagining her as a girl.

When I have duplicates that I make into a family, one becomes male. But I do agree, some I see I think male instantly!!
Majesty, BBE baby ribbon, Party time, Tic Tac Toe, Spunky the camel, Floater, Rasberry Jam, Beachball, there some that come to mind, I think are more male to me.

Yeah, the Shady pose (or whatever it's called!) is very manly. Someday for when my herd is bigger and I might want more males to balance it out, I have a list of ponies I consider manly, and Speedy and Party Time are on it, too!

When I eventually reclaim my childhood ponies, Shady and Baby Nightcap can hang out with them too. Breezie is sort of transgender: she'll be whatever role the game requires, and is comfortable in any gender. Autumn Skye's mold just has too big a head to be considered a pretty lady in my eyes, so he's a male now. Sugar Grape (the little guy) is also male. Because. Wish I'd remembered to stick Big Mac and the other BB guys in there. Oh well.
Edit: I have no idea who's going to be eating that fish.  Well, they know some dragons who would like them.
