Any one know about the VA meet?

hey can someone poke Karen for me? or anyone that was on the VA meet counicle? I was talking with someone at the Maryland meet and inquireing minds want to know if there will be a Virgina meet this year.

You know, if we don't hear about the VA meet, we can try and do a DC one...although I think we may have lost some people in the move? I haven't seen Maycrestmom or Knitgirl around.

Yes we are still having a meet this year!

Again the meet will be in August, and we are still looking at Fredricksbug as the location, with the 11th or the 18th as the date.

I need some pony time too.

VA meet? OMG YES! I might even be able to make it if it's in Fredericksburg, since that isn't an unreasonable drive from the NC border. A beach pony meet (maybe around VA Beach or Sandbridge or the Outer Banks) would also be awesome one year!

Fredericksburg is about 180 miles from me. Maybe one year it will be held in Chincoteague (official land of the ponies lol) and I could make it!

The last two years we've been pretty much on the NC border in Emporia. We've also done Palmyra (Charlottesville area), Chesapeake, and Hampton. Depending on where you are we may be able to work out a car pool if you decide to join us.

I love Chincoteague! I finally made it out there last summer on the way back from The Fair. I wish it was a practical option for a full on meet. Maybe a mini meet (and maybe avoiding penning time?)

awesome just talked to the other half we've officially decided to make the meet weekend our vacation this year. My boyfriend used to stay in Fredericksburg every summer he's still got family there I am in!

Can't wait now I have a goal date for getting more ponies and getting customs done

Seriously?? Man, all the cool things happened when I was away from this forum, haha. The same thing happened with another fandom's forum I'm on. For years, they held their annual convention twenty minutes away from where I now live--until the year I moved to VA. That year, they moved it to Las Vegas, where it remains. The fates mock me.

Carpooling's a great idea! I'd be happy chipping in for expenses if I can make it. It's just really close to the Zelda Symphony up in Vienna that I'm going to, so not sure I can justify two road trips in less than a month. Especially since we're going to need to pay to stay at a hotel for the Zelda concert weekend.

Jadis I am here!!! just been crazy busy = have you caught up with swiftheartbabbit?? blech = hate to be dropping out of actual reality pony meet-ups!  so looking forward to this one as I don't think I can swing a disney vacation as awesome as it sounds to be this year
