arena Messages not getting through?

Is there any way to be certian that my PM's and e-mails on the arena are getting through to the ususers I am sending them to? There are two friends I have on the arena who don't seem to respond to my messages at all, and I don't know if my messages are getting through to them. If they are getting them and not responding though, then I understand.

I think if you go to your sent folder and look at the envelope icons to the left of the messages you've sent, if it is an icon of an open envelope they have read your message. If they haven't read it, it is a closed envelope. Hope that helps.

It's possible that the member/members in question get a lot of messages, they may have missed yours. Sometimes I go back and do a double/triple check of my inbox to make sure that I didn't miss any, especially if I'm on a pony buying spree (I might have 6-10 responses to look through), it can be a little confusing.

I would recommend sending a message once more (if you feel as though you may be getting ignored) and just ask them to respond to give you a heads either way. That way you know for sure.

It can depend on how your inbox is set up, too. I have mine so that they are all open, I just scroll down and read them all. So if I read any of my messages, it marks them all as read. I really need to change it back though, as sometimes I miss the odd one, and because it was open, it's marked as 'read'. I try to reply to all of my messages to change the icon to 'replied' and that way I can see if I've actually read it or not, lol...

Yup Yup! How long ago did you send a message? I sometimes read them, but i don't always respond within 5 minutes... I usually need a little time, though i respond back eventually

But if your message was send like 3 weeks earlier... that's a different story.
