Avatar help? Are they down, or am I doing something wrong?

As explained, the error only comes up when you are trying to upload from your computer. If you link it from Photobucket or similar, it will work.

The reason it doesn't work to upload (and any existing uploaded avatars) were stored in the Gallery, which is sitting on the old server. Chief is working on locating it and moving it over.

The forum software automatically resizes linked images to 150 x 150. I wish it only made images larger than that the correct size, but it also makes smaller images larger. Sorry about that.

It's odd, I can't see anyones avatar except SDS and hatrocats and the original poster. And yet others here say they can see others avatars O.o I can't lol. Other than those none is working for me - including my own.

I just changed mine to photobucket so you should be able to see mine, Desert Rose.  I think the icons others are seeing are either hosted off site or they are still in the individuals cached images.  If you can't see anyone's it probably means your computer cleared your image cache.

Thanks for the offer. I still have the pic stored in my computer. Why can others see it, but not me? That's so weird.

It's the weirdest bug ever.  My guess is because it's cached, but then that doesn't quite cover why we can't see our own too.  Why would it cache lots of others avatars and not your own?
