Treasures found!

Alright so everyone knows that my mother was bringing a box of my old Grand Champions, so I could find them new homes. While I was digging through some of the boxes she brought I found some old babies I've been missing.

One this guy a GC collector classic and my personal favorite. He's one I've been missing for a while...apparently he got put outside in a bag. Uh oh, does anyone know how to clean his mane? It's not like regular hair feels more like mohair. I hate to ruin it.

I was in one of those hair beading phases.

I have a ton of Breyers at home, but when my mom brought my GC boxes she was confused and accidentally brought a box of my sister's Breyers. I have too many to pack away, but my sister had enough that they went in a storage tub. I'm not keeping them since they are hers, but displaying Spirit and Rain on my bookshelf for a while. I never bought them for myself even though I loved the cartoon...I just couldn't get over Breyer making cartoon looking horses with eyebrows.

and this wont mean much to anyone else, but here is Brushy! When I was really little my parents lived away from the farm, so until I was about five I was never exposed to big animals. They took me to a pony show when I was probably four, and I don't remember much about it at all honestly except a big ring with bright colors. What I do remember is Brushy. This is Brushy, and I had him for years. When I pulled him out he looked awful. His hair is a bit unruly and hard to brush anymore, his nostrils were felt ons that were picked off long ago. He has one leg with bad stitching from my early sewing attempts as a teen, so that one leg is a little thinner than the rest. He has a few face stains that refuse to come off....but Brushy! THe whole reason I love horses and unicorns. Lmao when I was a small kid I told my daddy if he loved me he would get me a pink unicorn. My Brushy. <3

Oh now Spirit and Rain were Breyer made. The Palomino is Grand Champion. He came from a set they had called Collector's Classics. They were bigger and far as real horse accuracy far more detailed. They had soft like mohair I believe it is, and even the plastic saddles were pretty detailed as far as a plastic saddle.

I only had a few of them though, because my mother said if I was going to spend that much I might as well have a Breyer.

Thanks you guys for being so sweet about my little Brushy. Haha, my family about died when I was carrying him around the other day since he looked so gross (I washed him twice, so he looks better). Means a lot....and aww thank you Kiss
