The EQG Doll clothes guide! UPDATED 8th September 14
« on: July 18, 2014, 12:06:36 PM »
Okay gang, I know the last thread about this is a few months old and hasn't been updated so I present to you...with my own findings, the EQG clothes swapping guide-basically a guide to the cute other doll fashions you can get for your EQGs!

Barbies-Not gonna happen. Nope. No way, buster no how. (Don't even get me started on what a shame this is with my small collection of Fashion Fever outfits...:( ) HOWEVER, some short bolero style jackets might make nice full-length jackets for the EQGS. Cellyzombie wears one over her stock pink dress sometimes and it looks pretty cute :D

Bratz-SOME clothes fit, we've got a lovely dress that looks great. But I got a set of bratz today just to nick their clothes and UGH Jeans skirts-forget about it! The Bratz have wider hips and so your poor EQGs may run the risk of being done for indecent exposure!! :O!! The boots and shoes however-PERFECT for the first wave EQGs-obviously if you get some shoes you might have to paint over the feet skintones.

Monster High-SUCCESS! the shoes fit the Rainbow Rocks and further line of dolls although there is a slight gap at the heel and the shorter skirt outfits look siply darling on them. There is a slight looseness at the neckline and they are longer on the EQGs due to the height difference (MH dolls are about the same size as EAH right?) and I had a nightmare of a time getting those sleeves over Cellyzombie's hands but overall i'm pleased I didn;t waste 5 quid on getting this outfit for them.

Pinkie Cooper-SUCH a shame this line is discontinued as the clothes are PERFECT! The shoes sadly are way too small.

Bratzillas-Way, way, way too big! The shoes however, are great for the second wave footed dolls.

Ever After High-the dolls are slightly larger and like the Bratz, more well-rounded shall we say than the stick thing EQGs however, Ashylnn Ella's dress, although slightly long, looks great on the girls. I have yet to get any other outfits to try.

If anyone would like to add to the list or has suggestions, please let me know. Cellyzombie is ALWAYS looking for new outfits!

Just an FYI- My TJ Maxx has a bunch of Pinkie Cooper dolls on their shelves right now. They are kind of cute in a weird way. :)

Curious about MH...

I'm hoping to maybe go to a car boot this weekend and maybe pick up some clothes there. If so, I'll update :)

Dunno if you're still looking for examples of clothes that fit,  but we just got some Bratz clothes on clearance at TRU.

They fit really well!

Oh my goodness! Those outfits are super cute! I've had a bit of a an up and down with Bratz stuff, some fits really well and others is just too long/wide.

I have some La Dee Da clothes, and they fit almost perfectly with the EqG dolls, both peg-leg and footed-versions.

Edit - Here they are! the stands that come with the LDD dolls are actually perfect to use with equestria girls.

I have updated my first post with the photo :) I tested out 3 of my 4 outfits I have.

As a precaution, when using the coloured stockings that come with the LDD outfits: make sure to not leave the stockings on!!! I had the red stockings on my deluxe fluttershy for a week and now from the knees down, there are small red blotches.
