G4.5 are the late 2010 molds. This is more like G4.7.

I am fine with the hooves... but the rest is no good... I especially dont like those overbite snouts...
Sure, I wasnt keen on the g4s originally either and I thought they looked more like mice than ponies, but the g4 was a lot cuter than this.

Sad to say but I actually prefer G4 AJ. Both appearance wise and personality wise. I am not really into her G1 toy but the cartoon version is adorable.
Although... I might like G5 concept AJ (the one with white hoves and nose blaze) best of all, but I guess she dont count since she isnt official.

Kids dont always understand that what they do have consequenses and get odd ideas. I never did something to a pony but I remember that when I was a kid, I did some stupid things... I cut my own eyelashes because I thought they were too long, I drew crowns on Bambi in a book I had, because royalty wear crowns but bambi didnt in that book (totally regreted that afterward). I put lotion on a mcdonalds barbie figure and thought it would disappear on its own just like it did on skin... I also remember having a hard time grasping the fact that the hair on toys wouldn't grow back if it was cut like human hair.

I have a mip CC baby, I never really cared for her symbol either but I would never remove a symbol just because I dont like it. It is one thing if the symbol is already damaged beyond repair... I mean, even if I dont like it, there are surely people who do want her. It dont seem right to me to ruin something because I dont like it when it could go to someone who will truly cherish it.

Very cute. I do like it, but I can see how some bits would have been troublesome to animate and some stuff looked a little off- like Twilights back hoofs as she moved them forward. But it would have been nice to see that extra detailing when wind blow in their hair.

Catrina's a kitty, though, right? I would've thought a version of Toralei rather than one of the wolves?
Eg
I also thought Clawdia was more difficult to find than the gazillion versions of Clawdeen, so you might find it's cheaper and easier to get Clawdeen and reroot and repaint her...
the problem with using toralei, is that she has a vitiligo thing going on in her face, it in the plastic itself so it cant be removed. Plus, Tora is orange, Catrina is brown, so yea Clawdeen is a better match.

I adore the sweetheart sisters! best mold hands down! such a shame the didnt come in pegasi and unicorn. My favourite is Dainty, but I like Sundrop too, even if she isnt quite the same line.
I remember how enchanted I was as a kid by their earrings and makeup... Saddly I owned none of them and could only admire the ones my friends owned.

As far as I know, no, Dainty Dove dont have fading pink. I have one since childhood thats still a strong pink, and I have found Dainty Doves at yardsales with good pink hair too.

I bought a set of the Rainbow ponies yesterday and I couldnt check them properly until today due to bad lightning, and now I discovered that the Starshine and Parasol of the set are all yellow stained!!! Is this common with them?
