My 10 year old painted this for me last night... and I was absolutely shocked at how GOOD it was. It has found a proud spot for display right on the bedroom wall! Thought I would share it with you all!

Awh shucks babe! I would love to think that she got her artistic ability from Mommy... It's bittersweet to see drawings like this in comparison to her " little kid doodles" of years past... I'm getting OLD!

Awe that's so cute. And VERY well done! At first I thought it was a coloring page, and then I realized it was a painting! Awesome job!  My oldest loves drawing Pokemon more than anything. He's actually pretty good at it too. My daughter likes drawing pics of me and her riding unicorns. She's only 7 so they're still pretty funny. I love them though. My youngest is four and his art is juuuuuust starting to look like things.
