The packaging is such an improvement and I love that they're packing the DVDs behind the ponies now. They should have done that all along. While I don't normally like accessories, I do love that little drink/ice cream float that comes with Pinkie Pie. Though, I don't need another Pinkie Pie, I may pick her up when I see her just for that.

Now if we could just see the translucent ponies packaged. I'm starting to worry that those won't be released in the end.

These look like the "with DVD" version of the Fluttershy we have seen. I suspect the other 2 of the main 6 will also be in this wave but have simply been missed off at the moment. With Ploomette and "someone" else no doubt [hopefully] going to join 4 of the main 6 in a further wave.

Cute to see a new release but I continue to hope for new characters.

I wouldn't usually buy more mane 6 but this is one of my favorite episodes, I need the DVD o.o

That and for some reason, Fluttershy with tinsel is super cute. (And this is coming from me... I hate tinsel!)

Bleh.... more mane 6.  Well my interest in this line of MLP is quickly dissipating.  I was ALMOST interested in starting to collect it but this trend just about flattened my desire.

Maybe they have others in mind too.  But they just came out with five new ones (including Zecora) so maybe we need to wait until after the holidays?

Love the new packaging because of the DVD behind the pony and the look is very nice. May have to get all of the main 6 again because of the eye difference. I like the new eyes. Even though I like the main 6 they need some new ponies to come out as well. The DVDs look bigger to me but will have to see when I find one in stores.

I haven't bought the original six but I do sort of like the idea of getting one old and one new to have side by side.  I hope this doesn't convince me to get them.

It's so they're on the market at all times for new fans that don't have them yet.
Honestly, I see no reason to complain, at least we're still getting new characters in addition to the mane 6 unlike Core 7, so I'd assume you'd all be grateful. :/
Sure, we don't get a million new ponies like early G3, but we still get NEW ones, just look at Wave 9, Favorites collection, Zecora, all released the past 3 months, all (mostly) new.
