Oh my, the needle breaking sucks... when I got my rehair tool and needles, I broke all them on the first night, my husband had to make me new needles, I broke all but one (it's the largest needle we had/have) and it's lasted through the last 6 rehairs that I've done with absolutely no problems at all.

I usually start rehairing from the bottom, but that's just me. Just keep at it, and you'll get it in no time :)

I always start from the top and do one full row at a time... I've never had the hair looked that tangled while doing it though... :huh: I'm super finicky though and continuously making sure that the hair is laying flat on each hole. It almost looks as if you have been pushing stray plugs into errant holes...

Nope, not pushing into multiple holes. I think I'm making my plugs too big, but I don't want her to look bald. I've already pulled all the hair out once and started over.  :zzz:

I love the boy ponies! I only ever had the 2, Tex and Wigwam, but they seem to be almost all of my favorite that i still have.. i am missing a ton of ponies and cannot find them.. think they might still be at my ex husbands and i am afraid he threw them away   :cry:
