Some of you may know I customize Breyers, some of you may not, but I do. And Breyer sponsors a customs contest, one of the more coveted contest to win. So this year I decieded to enter - below is my entry. It is made from a Breyer Shetland Pony. So say hello to Sir Hopsalot, a Dentzel Tribute Carousel Rabbit. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

First off I know this is not a pony, but I need to share and I am not sure where else to do so besides my own FB page! My daughter (clonecommander here) did this OS for her advanced sculpture class in college. Since she was such a good egg and helped all the studio kids (and got behind on her projects) her professor said she could have some help so she could get all her work done. So I got to make my first wing! Now I want to do two and make a Pegasus, but that is going to have to wait till I get some other work done. But yeah, feathers!!! visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

This fellow was started awhile ago and I believe buried in the archives is an old thread on em, which I will look for at some point and link in, but in the meantime if anyone wishes here is a link to that part of his creation - http://s21.photobucket.com/user/CrocusCottage/library/shaunasboy?sort=3&page=1. Ziggy began life as a Breyer Flash and in the end will be a Marcus Illionis Flame Mane jumper. But I am finally back in my studio as time permits and one of my promises to myself was to clear all my old work out this year so here we go. I shall share his pose and mane reference photo, his trappings are going to be a combination of several horses all Illionis but we are not there yet. Spoiler One thing that had bothered me was his teeth and tongue so they got worked on. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginSo here we go - pose and mane shot - visitors can't see pics , please register or loginTo create his flame mane, I used wire inserted into a base of Magic Sculpt Apoxie on his neck. Then that was covered with painters tape, once done I draw out the shape of mane I wanted, then cut it out with a scissors and wire nippers. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginOnce the painters tape and shaped, it is coated with super glue and baking soda to make a nice hard surface to apply the Magic Sculpt on. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginNext up starting the mane, I had to keep reminding myself that this was a flame mane and did not need to be too detailed. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginand that is where we are at now. Spoiler Update - 1/22/17 Not the update I was hoping for, did not get the day to work in the studio I planned for. Instead stole and hour and finished the romance side of Ziggy's mane done. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginSpoiler 1/28 - Well moving right along, Ziggy's non romance side mane is now done. Up next for the zigmister is new ears and a forelock to go with his flaming awesome mane. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginSorry to have not updated, not sure where the time goes. Anyhow forelock done, and mane first sanding. I think maybe some neck work to in these photos. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginForelock done - visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginWhole mane - main part has had it's first sanding. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or login

In the model horse world to whiten a yellowed area or yellowed model they often will take paper towel and dampen it with bleach and then lay over the area you want whitened. You of course check on it often and replace as the paper towel starts to dry out. Anyone ever try this on a white pony to remove those lovely pink "highlighter" marks you find em with? We found a few G1's and one is going to be an upgrade to one we have if we can remove the pink from her back leg.

Taking the plunge and changing from Virgin Mobile to Tracfone, like their minutes better and you do not need to constantly put money on to keep service. I am actually looking to get a basic Anriod when I do (I have flip phone right now), so anyone have a Tracfone Anriod and which ones are good? Need to keep the price of the phone between $30-50. Thanks!

Hey anyone on here have a FB page just for selling? If so how did you set it up? Does it work? I have toyed with Esty but it seems you need to constantly promote and I do not have that time right now.

Okay so yes I know I just made a thread and yes I know I have been MIA for ages, life has been anything but boring - or quite around here. And no I did not get lost in the cellar or locked in their by Loa to keep me quite. All those are rumors and lies. So the reason for this post, yes it does have a reason - I have a few fakies from companies I know folks collect, two are in this thread here - http://mlparena.com/index.php/topic,379389.0.htmlBut those two are not the only ones recently found and not returned to the wild - so if anyone has any ideas of prices please let me know! First up the demon Unicorn (Totsy) I say this because when I was taking it's photos with my old camera downstairs, the camera suddenly ended up fogging inside the lens! Warily changed to the imps camera and got photos - (click thumbnails to make larger) visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginThen there is this Lanard that sadly looks to have had someone try to taste it's leg! The head is also loose, so it gets a little scary in some shots. LOL Again click the thumbnails to make larger. visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginAnd lastly I mentioned oddities right? So you all know that feeling, you spy something, something that looks ponyesqk, only to find it is not? Well to go that feeling one better, the other day at one of our favorite haunts we spied what looked like the backcard to a G1. Then we got closer, and closer and well... It was not, BUT it was a New on Card old school Fakie - now I do not collect fakies, and for the most part, they get tossed back into the return bag for when I make a donation BUT who could resist buying a one still in the bubble with such a fun card? Want to see? Yes? Okay then - here we go - visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginNow some funny things, one is the copyright date on the back card is '84, the hooves are '89! We also managed to find one of the other "pets" from the set a few weeks back who I had hung onto to sell because I know some folks collect Remcos, here is Babe the Burro - visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginSo thank you for looking and if you have any idea of value, please shout it out, I need to start selling stuff to make money for Breyerfest (and other things).
