Bakana is having a blast! I'm smiling because I flew back home to the UK after a very fun week in Nashville, TN, for a guitar class get-together, catching up with friends and experiencing Cracker Barrel for the very first time! Loved the gift shop and bought some very cute salt-shakers in so many shapes: bunnies, mushroom, fried egg, snail... saw no pony merch though...

Good luck! I had one removed in September, (the other postponed, but due to be removed soon) be careful after the op to only eat soft food - and have your dentist describe what "dry socket" is and how to avoid it. My gum healed within 10 days - but it was annoying waiting for it to settle down!
ETA avoid using straws - as the sucking motion can dislodge the blood clot - you need this clot to help your gum heal faster!

Oh no, Beldarna! Bad kitties... I like the idea that lovesbabysquirmy said about putting petals in jars.
The UK (Royal Mail) still is not processing international parcels - 2 weeks since a "cyber attack"... I have a little parcel (worth about £20) that needs to go to the USA and I cannot justify spending crazy money (£28+) to use an alternative service...

Hehe, we went to a "Tony Roma's" for ribs and I wanted to try a "Popeye's" chicken (but didn't have time) the rest of the time there was food (pizza/tacos) provided by our hosts I was surprised at the cost of things downtown, 16th Street area, very similar to London tourist prices. 12 dollars for a glass of red wine - hmmm, wasn't expecting that! I was pleased to find a Walmart out of town and not have to spend nearly 4 dollars on a small bottle of water!! my friends from Minnesota had hired a car so we spent some time driving around looking for fun things to do I can't wait to go again, it was such a blast!! Gotta start saving those pennies

Smiled because I fulfilled a bucket list item -
last week I flew from London to Denver, alone, to meet up with friends and spend time on a guitar performance course, culminating in a show on the penultimate day.
I got to experience as much American culture as I could cram in - including: a trip up the mountain to visit the Red Rocks music venue, pancake breakfast at a diner, taco Tuesday, and a couple of fun things too: experiencing a Walmart and a Goodwill thrift store!! (Yes, I checked for ponies, none found, but I saw some cool crafted wooden fish ornaments that my friend bought!)
So much fun. Had a video livestream with the gang tonight, it feels like I never left!!
