Show me ponies in really bad conditions but loved anyway , kept in collection even though they have seen better days. We all have bad days and need some love so I want to see ponies who you love to keep even if they look bad and seem to be having a rough day.

For example my G1 Tulip: as a kid I was playing hairdresser... And some years after that my dog found her so she is bitten in few places... Now I'm thinking about re-hair her + refresh a little but for sure - I'll never throw her away

My Lemon Drop, I rehaired her and painted her eyes... and she's Italian.... when I was doing her I didn't know she's variant
but I love her anyhow!!

sorry you didn't know...she taught you a lesson though so you gotta love her more for that...I love it when ponies teach us how to collect better...I like her and I am glad you do too. Especially since lemondrop was my only pony as a kid

poor rosette needs a magic eraser and a wash so she can shine

I love these keep them coming I will show you mine...I need to scrub her down with a magic eraser and see but I doubt I can get all her marks off but I don't care I like her

I dont have any pictures to hand unfortunately to share. I like threads like these because I always think while the ponies may be in poor conditions, I bet they went on awesome adventures with their young owners to get looking that way!

only till now have i ever loved a bait pony.
i was so picky, i think i also have been a picky collector even though my first few as an adult collector were in terrible baity condition.
but i just love my Mexican girls, they aren't that bad and are a lot better then when i got them.
they were full and i mean completely fulled with rust and gunk and had marks all over them.
peachy has had her mane and tail trimmed and has been tidied up heaps but poor wee blue belle i love her so much even without any hair. i have ordered some dolly hair but i don't know if i really want brand new shiny hair on her so she is in my collection as the only bald pony

My Mexicans were a wreck when I got them, too, but they really do clean up nicely! I love your Blue Belle...she's such a pretty color! Congrats on them! I reallly think "bait" is a state of mind now that I've opened my heart to Nirvanas! I'm working on a Brazil Sprinkles right now and she's only been here for a day but the difference is astounding! Soooooo happy!

She's missing her beautiful curls, but I think she looks nice anyway What's left of her flowing locks does still have a bit of original curl too. If I ever catch the rehairing bug, I may consider giving her some new hair.

Snuzzle:

I bought her years ago from a flea market and she came with this cute little barrette. She was my first CP pony and I was so excited to get her. I see no need to scuplt her a new ear as this does the trick nicely and I think she's pretty cute with the barrette.

Boysenberry Pie:

Poor Boysenberry came from the same vendor at the flea market. Her uneven haircut does bother me a bit, but I think I would feel worse trimming it to be honest  She wears her little hat and it covers her major flaws so well. I love the way her eyes peek out from under there.

So far I have found upgrades for Snuzzle and Boysenberry Pie but I still keep these two around. They stand side by side in my collection and they remind me of when I first started collecting and how excited I was to find ponies at the flea market. I sure miss that vendor now (not all of her ponies were missing pieces  )

I'm going to look for good hair for Morning Glory Today I washed Rosette pretty well and now she looks much better ^^ About Tulip - I'm going to look for a inspiration
