She looks amazing :faint: Wow, I would have given her one look and thought she was impossible. I'm so glad you were able to save her and her original hair! Perhaps on your next one, do you think maybe you can do a picture tutorial? I'm so much better with picture tutorials so I make sure I'm doing the right thing  I would love to salvage my childhood Rainbow Curl ponies who have major frizzy hair!

There's so many tutorials out there, it actually didn't even occur to me that it'd be useful o.o If more people think it'll be helpful I'll certainly do one!

I unfortunately don't have anymore ponies with massive frizz, but I'd happily take any pony thrown at me ^^

She looks stunning!  Gorgeous job.  :)

I honestly don't know if I'd have that much patience but you surely got a lovely Goldilocks out of it.  :)

Gorgeous! Good on you for not giving up on Goldie. She looks fantastic - you should be very proud. I hope this does inspire others to put a bit more effort into some ponies rather than rehairing. =)

Step 3- Hours and hours with a curling iron on high heat. This is the first pony that took more than two sessions for me. She took about 6 different sessions with the curling iron to tame the frizz.
------------------------------------
I would try this, however I won't go out of my way to buy a curling iron that I will never even use on my hair. I thought you couldn't use high heat on pony hair because of melting o.o

High heat is fine, my 'high' is usually fine but I won't chance it and I turn it to low for a bit, but low heat just doesn't tame the frizz. It has to be hot and you have to hear the sizzle of water evaporating.

And I got my curling iron second hand, and a straightener that wors for a dollar at a thrift store. You don't need to make a big investment for a curling iron <3

That looks amazing! Well done for being so patient. Hair straighteners really do work wonders, they've taken a lot of frizz out of my ponies' hair too

That certainly takes patience! I had to do the same thing with a rainbow curl Ringlet one time and it took forever, so I can certainly appreciate the effort that goes into it! I have another Ringlet in need of the same, but I've been putting it off because I don't have the patience right now. Real pony hair really is very durable though, I've never had it melt on me even dry on high heat. Kanekalon hair has melted on me before though, lol.

I have a G1 Seabreeze that I've been working on restoring and for some reason the streak of fading pink hair just won't defrizz even though the other colors are now silky. Has anyone else had that problem? what do you do?

That fading pink colour is awful for frizz. I have several Bunny Hops with the same problem. It's very frustrating. I can only recommend more conditioner, hot water and straightening a tiny bit of hair at a time.

Maybe that's it, I'm probably trying to straighten too much at once, I'll try just a few plugs at a time, Thanks!
