WOOOOO I got Sable Spirit last night!!!  As for accidental purchases, I found a way to reduce how often it happens. Try only accessing the store from the Everfree Forest. Nothing can be placed there, so if you fat-finger a pony, you'll be prompted to travel before an actual purchase is made.

I got Mistmane today too, and I am THRILLED that winning Sable Spirit IS possible without the alchemist pony! I actually do have the 600 gems to buy her, but I won't if I don't need to. I'd rather wait for Nightmare Moon or Daybreaker to reappear.

I couldn't get all 24 scooters in time for Peachy Pie, but I managed to knock her price down to 6 gems. Either my drop rate was bugged, or I was just unlucky. The rodeo clown's calendars actually had the proper drop rate, so he was easy to get. I'm rather enjoying these hotel ponies with reasonable requirements! Not that I mind steep requirements for hotel ponies, but this has been a nice break.

I got the Guardians of Harmony Fan Series DJ P0N-3 statue, a thrift haul I haven't sorted through yet, and G1 Tux N Tails!!! He needs some work, but he'll clean up beautifully!

Side note: usually GL allows enough time plus about 6 hours (2-3 extra rounds) to win the “limited time” prize in the mega events. Assuming you sleep only a little bit and have no booster ponies. But this time, at least with the first boss fight, there’s pretty much no extra time. If you don’t have a booster pony in round 1, you will only get the limited bonus if you stay awake. (Im still up every 3 hours with my 6 month old....and I have a booster piny plus a timer set. Hoping to get the bonus!!).
I've been setting alarms for the last few mega events. Sleeping 2 hours at a time for Tempest was hard, but doable. Capper was less than that and I couldn't manage it. 2 and a half hours for Pharynx (both versions!) wasn't bad at all, so I'm pretty hopeful for this event and its 3 hour timer. I really want Rockhoof and the Windigo! Also, it's snowing in my game!

I'm torn about the new leveling system. I do like that it's less grindy, but I think they went too far. There's no sense of accomplishment in taking a pony from 0 to 5 stars in one game.

Who is the social event pony this week? The top prize is showing as gems for me, so I assume that means I already have the pony. EDIT: lol Nevermind. Instagram answered that one for me, and I already have Hard Hat.

I got the Dali pony, but only made it halfway through the second boss fight stage. Everything to do with Chipcutter just took SO LONG!!! So no Storm King for me, but somehow I managed to win Pony Warhol!

One of my nearby Gamestops just had a big Breath of the Wild restock, and I got a GUARDIAN!!! Amiibo grail FTW! 
Congrats! What does it do?
I'm leaving this one MIB, but it drops Ancient weapons and shields, and guardian parts. The figure itself is just plain one of the coolest looking amiibos ever made, and the legs are poseable!
