Taking the SAT tomorrow...

Now that it's the night before (about nine hours until I have to start..) I'm suddenly nervous. I haven't studied anything, oops...


Anyone wanna tell me how hard the SATs are? Give me some reassurance?

The SATs have changed a lot since I took them.  Time management is crucial - it's not like a high school exam.  On the writing part (something new since I last took the test in the 90's) make sure you're being very clear in intent.  Clarity will get you a better score on it.

take your id, pencils, make sure your calculator is approved. You may have snacks during the break. The first sections of the test are longer than the later sections but don't forget to pace yourself. Also "You receive one point for every correct answer, zero points for every question you leave unanswered and minus one-quarter of a point for every incorrect answer If you can eliminate even one of the answer choices, guess! From a purely statistical standpoint, this approach will gain you more points over the whole test than you'll get by playing it safe and leaving the questions blank."
