« on: September 09, 2023, 06:27:36 PM »
Hi! I have a bait lot which includes a three G3 ponies listed on my Mercari. It currently also has 2 G1 ponies, but if you were interested and wanted only the G3, I can split the group and we can chat about price. I could definitely do 2-3 per pony+ shipping.

I wanted to update because I am cross listing on Poshmark (slowly) so if anyone prefers that platform, many of my ponies are available there! I also am selling vintage clothes, shoes, and accessories if that's something you're also interested in :)

I have my original tomagatchi that I would be willing to part with. It's white and grey. If you might be interested, I can see if it even still works and take some pictures. I usually sell via Mercari, and I can list it there.

Off Topic / Re: Which states should I visit next?
« on: July 02, 2016, 06:27:38 AM »
I've been to all of the states you list with the exception of North Dakota. I'm an outdoorsy type person, so I loved them. I mainly did hiking in Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado. For Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota, I was taking a field class. They are all beautiful and all very different with lots of natural parks.

If you are more into cities and shopping, however, and want to see the Midwest, I second that you should visit Chicago. My husband lived there to complete he Master's degree when he first moved to the US from Paris, and well, it's his first love hahahahaha. Beautiful city, lots to do, lots of amazing shopping, museums, etc. Even I like it and I am so not a city person (don't tell him or he'll think i want to move there haha). It even has 29 miles of beaches!

East coast also has a lot of history, museums, and shopping, as well as some nice parks and beaches.

The Dollhouse / Thinking of selling Pullips- gaging interest
« on: March 31, 2016, 02:45:26 PM »
Hello All,

I am thinking of selling at least two of my Pullips. I unfortunately am swamped with so many other things that they are just collecting dust right now, and I'm sure someone else could give them a much better home!

Marianne: she's out of the box, but has basically just sat on my shelf for a year. She has her entire outfit.

Clarity: just her head and an Obitsu body. I never got around to putting her head on her body and am missing the pin that goes inside her head. I also have a wig that would fit her (golden/light brown curled near the bottom. Wig needs a stylist.

I will post pictures when the weather is a little sunnier! I was hoping to get this up today, but it's rather grey out today.

Please message me if you are interested and/or would like to make an offer. I would be shipping from Delaware, USA.

Off Topic / Re: I'd like to talk to you about cheeses.
« on: January 15, 2016, 08:58:35 AM »
Alllll the cheese is my favorite cheese. I like rocamadour, delice de bourgogne, and roquefort in particular, but pretty much any cheese is good in my opinion.

Off Topic / Re: Inclusive Resort vs. Cruise?
« on: August 19, 2015, 10:54:43 AM »
I'm not sure if this is useful or not, but depending on where you go and how much food and especially alcohol you consume, sometimes a non-all-inclusive resort is cheaper.  My husband and I like a glass of wine with dinner, but some of the all inclusive resorts seem to assume you're going to drink a lot at each meal and at the pool and at the beach and basically all day long, and charge accordingly, so it wouldn't have worked out very well for us, but if you like cocktails, it is likely a good deal.  We also like to eat a lot of local food from wherever we are, which isn't always available at the restaurants at all-inclusive places.  On the other hand, food and water are safe in Costa Rica (the last time we were presented with this quandary), but if I were going to somewhere where that wasn't the case, I might give an all-inclusive more consideration.

As far as sight seeing, I guess cruise vs. resort depends on whether you want to see a little bit of a lot of different places or a lot of one place.

Whatever you do, have fun! :)

Off Topic / Re: Dog folk with ingenuity, help needed for car travel!
« on: July 28, 2015, 06:42:18 PM »
For the car seat, what about buying foam similar to what is in orthopedic beds and having it cut to the right size and shape? You could maybe use a cheaper twin bed foam pad, and cut from there. It might be cheaper than buying two dog beds to cut.

Off Topic / Re: East Coast Help! (NJ/DE/MD)
« on: June 18, 2015, 07:29:49 PM »
I go to Ocean City, MD every year. It is a fun, family-oriented, traditional beach with boardwalk rides and mini golf and such. Driving distance from Ocean City is Assateague Island, which has wild ponies (Misty of Chincoteague was from the Virginia side of the island, but the Maryland side is lovely and closer). We also enjoy Rehoboth and nearby Lewes (on Delaware Bay) and Cape Henlopen state park, which is just gorgeous. Lewes has a lot of history, and Cape Henlopen is a lovely natural area with World War II bunkers and look-out towers, if that's your thing. Delaware has a few other beach related state parks down that way, too.

Off Topic / Re: Anyone know anything about dog fencing?
« on: April 08, 2015, 09:19:09 AM »
Haha, her lack of opposable thumbs ended her fencing career prematurely! Also, she love smooches. We warn guests that she has a hard time holding her "licker"

I will definitely look into a physical fence.  She is a very smart dog, so I am sure she could learn boundary lines, but it's a small yard in a busy neighborhood, and she has selective hearing... She would visit every person and dog walking by And I think only a fence would deter her!

Sorry for typos, my phone is weird sometimes...

Yeah, I've been leaning more toward the taller fence.  Glad to see that's a popular option! Since we only have to fence half the year (the other half, where it meet's the other neighbor's land has high fences- go figure).

I LOVE the climbing plant idea.

Here's my fur baby, Phoebe:

Sitting in the car, and not sure how to do it right.  She has three front legs?
