I made a pony friend!

Of all the wonderfully random things that happen in my life....  I met a collector who lives 4 blocks away from me!  And she totally is into fleamarketing together and trading and upgrading from each other's collections!    She has an account here but hasn't posted since 2003, 2004.  But still!  What are the chances of THAT?! 

I was able to get a big bag of "baits" from her, as well as a Seashell, Wigwam, Starswirl, Happyglow and Ripple for my own collection! 

But... PONY FRIEND!

wow, this sounds wonderful! how nice that would be to have a friend who would understand (not only accept, but also feel) your love for ponies, and who you can talk about your new finds and collection with, without the other getting bored, can do swaps, and can even go pony hunting together!

Congrats! I'm in the same boat.
Just met someone on here who lives just a few cities away. (Like 20 miles away from me.)

I just asked her to hang out with me and I feel creepy because I feel like I'm asking someone on a date.

Pony friends are awesome! My best friend used to laugh at my ponies, thinking its silly. But nowadays she is a collector too and we go flea market hunting together, give ponies to eachother and just talk ponies!

But congrats, its really great to have pony friends!

congrats on your new friend. I did make a pony friend once that lived close by me but it wasn't meant to be I guess. -shrugs- I think we just stayed acquaintances for a little while but we lost contact.
