So I recently decided to choose the "All Category" and "Australia only" on eBay, and I saw a pink baby pegasus with blue hair, with a moon and star cutie mark. I bidded on her, never having seen her before and presuming she might be a nirvana or something.
Then I identified her, and her name is Moondream! She's a UK exclusive and I'm glad I bidded on her, because I won!

Ooh, post a pic of her as soon as possible!

She is so cute! I love her pose.

That was a nice win, and even better you won't have to spend a fortune on international shipping. Congrats :cheer:

Yeah, that's a good point although I'm just wondering how she got here; Did a kid bring her over from Europe when they moved, did someone import her or was it something else entirely?

Oh, she's one the Bedtime Newborns, I love them, they're cute (I have Sunset). They were sold in Australia as well as (some parts of) Europe. The MLP Scrapbook says that they were sold in Australia as part of an Easter promotion, packaged inside eggs. http://www.etherella.com/scrapbook2/1993_bedtimenewborns.htm

On the easter egg story on my site (Scrapbook), to clarify that that information came from an Australian member here (Daffodil) who had them that way when she was a kid or saw them when they were in stores. I think it's a super cute way to release them - they were just on small pink cards here like the rest of the ponies in that year.
Congrats on getting her :D She was a childhood pony for me, I always really loved the tiny newborn wings! Yours has fun punky hair going on there ;)
On another note, and this may be good news for you...I believe a lot of the later year European release ponies also appeared in Australia. So you might find others if you keep looking :D
