Hi all, I have 3 wonderful kids who we adopted from foster care, the first 2 are brother and sister, they are now 9 and 11 and we adopted them in 2011..well we decided to become foster parents early last year and our very first foster son who is now 15 we decided to adopt, his mother signed her rights away and we adopted him December 19th, 2013. He is a great kid and we love him so much, I tell him I love you so much that I would do anything for you, so I decided to email his birth mother, tell her what a hard choice it must have been for her and tell her how wonderful her son is, My son Dillon has it in his head me and his birthmom are supposed to be friends and talk and meet someday. She wrote me back and with tears I read as she told me how much this meant to her and I must be an angel sent from God, it made me want to cry, that was last week and we have talked on the phone twice, and I let him talk to his mom as well as long as they were on speaker phone. We even have plans to meet next month and she is bringing a gift for my son as well as my other kids! She has been so sweet and even though my son can't see or talk to his brother (adopted by another family) I feel a calmness over him talking to his birthmom. She refers to us as his parents and he refered to us as mom and dad while talking to her too. I told him, you have 2 moms who love you very much! I think adoption is a wonderful gift, and I am so glad I made this choice, I just hope everything goes ok when we meet!

I am 32! Married with 3 kids 15, 11 and 9, that we were blessed to have through adoption! I recently contacted my 15 year olds birthmom and now me and her talk every day and he calls her some, it is a wonderful new relationship! I am a stay at home mom!

Thank you all so much! My kids that we adopted are 8 and 10 and I have a 14 yea old foster son, that I love like he was my own :-)

Hi! I use to be very active on here and have since adopted 2 children, became a foster mom and sold almost all my ponies! I really want to get my collection again, so I will be back for now! I have missed you all!
