Hi all!
I joined this forum quite recently partly for My Little Pony but mainly for Monster High. I've been visiting here a lot recently for info on upcoming releases and finally thought I should join so hello everyone!
I live in Scotland in the UK and we're quite well served for Monster High availability here.
I've been collecting MH since they came out and so far have at least one of each of the main characters released.
I was quite surprised recently to see MH dolls appearing in TKMaxx (the same chain as TJMaxx in the USA). They had the first versions of Robecca Steam and Abby Bominable and they sold out quickly. Its strange as these two dolls are still available in most other stores at the moment, TKMaxx usually only gets end of line toys.
Last week they had a bunch of Picture Day dolls on the shelves, this is even more surprising since they've only just appeared on the shelves of Asda, Tesco and the like. However they're half the price in TKMaxx! On closer inspection they seem to be European boxes as apart from the Mattel address on the bottom of the box, there's no English information on them. They're exactly the same as the standard versions, only no English.
I'm not sure how unusual this is but thought it'd be worth a mention!
