~Azulia Waters~ A custom

This lady started life as a MH Ghoulia. She was my experiment with several techniques.

She was given a really good sanding - removing seems and plastic imperfections and then painted with Meltonian Nu Life Color Spray in a rich sapphire color. She was then sealed with Mr. Super Clear flat. Her joints and parts of her body were shaded with artist chalk and again sealed.

Her face was done with pastels, watercolor pencils, watercolor paint and acrylics, sealing between every layer. Her lips were sealed with a gloss sealer for a wet look.

She also has a small tribal tattoo on the back of her leg.

Her hair is a wig which is glued in place and now none removable. I bought the wig to be on another doll but after painting Azulia and seeing how well the colors matched I decided it would be hers.

Her clothes and shoes are a combination of MH and Bratz pieces I already had and are removeable.
