Remove Zit on a Monster High doll..?
« on: June 15, 2012, 10:15:07 AM »
I am in the process of customizing a CAM MH doll.   There are a few parts I would like to have white, but don't want to paint.  Namely, the hands and feet.

I was wondering if the Remove Zit product some people use to remove marks from MLPs (and other toys) would work on a MH doll?   I know that this product is very strong, and can/will remove the dye from the plastic.   I am hoping to use this to simply bleach out the parts without having to paint.

Do you think this will work?   I'm going to try it out on a spare hand when I get home today, and maybe a spare leg I have too.   Just to make sure it doesn't damage the plastic.   The Remove-Zit I have is older than a year, which is the apparent expiration date.  But, I haven't used much, and the container has been put away in a drawer.   I'm thinking/hoping it is still strong enough to do it's job.   I really don't want to have to order more just for one custom.   It's expensive!

Anyway, any thoughts or tips would be great!

Thanks!
