What is 'cheap' to buy right now?

I am wondering... What is 'cheap' right now? I had a massive collection but sold most of it 5 ish years back. Recently I have tried to make some ebay purchases and my bids have not even registered at amounts I felt were above average.

Example, italians. I keep hearing that prices are down but not for the ones I'm after. Colombians I know have dropped a lot. How about MOC G1s?

Italians are still relatively cheap for Nirvanas, but there are several that can hit $75-100 pretty easily. I think the common ones are still $25-50.

Columbians have dropped alot, but they are still $100 and up.

Ad for G1's. I think the common one are running $5-8, more popular commons $10-12.

I think cheap is kind of subjective, as cheap for some might be 10-20, and another, depending on their income and finances, might be 50.  G3s are easy to find on Ebay, many great quality, and cheap. 

Baby Brothers are quite cheap.

The Mommy Charms years ago used to be fairly expensive, they're CHEAP now.

Yes, I think you are right StoryDreamer "cheap" is different to different people - but personally I think ponies are like many other items and have been on a bit of a price arc...prices on just about all G1s are down on where they were 3 or so years ago [especially a lot of nirvanas] but the prices from 3 or so years ago were much higher than they had been for even a couple of years prior to that. But overall most prices stay "same-ish"...Mimic remains the most expensive TE, Peachy remains inexpensive, etc.

But then I have been trying to pick up some common ponies recently - Posey and Lickety Split - and am finding them much more expensive than I thought they would be. So perhaps the prices which had fallen are picking up again a little.

Oh this is me and LSplit at the moment...I know that feeling...when I bid I get out bid...when I decide not to bid the auction ends at $3!!!
