It looks like the "get gems free" button has finally appeared on my iPod (pretty sure it wasn't there before).

Which of the offers are worth doing though?

The only one I've tried so far is Hello Kitty. It wasn't too bad. I made it to the required level 4 fairly quick.

Aw Michelle that's rubbish

I still can't get friends on mine properly, I had a couple showing a few days ago but now I don't have anyone on Social even though I added loads of people on GL. So I can't send anyone hearts yet, sorry guys Also if you sent me them, I can't get them yet as it also keeps saying I have no internet connection when I do (can use other internet based stuff) BAH. Getting frustrated with that now

OK, I am officially upset with Gameloft. As if the ridiculous gem requirements weren't bad enough!

I tapped the "Get Free Gems" button out of curiousity and one of the offers was "Deposit £10 at William Hill and play some games"- the reward was 178 gems! That's a betting site openly advertising on a game for children!
What's even worse is that further down there is another advert for a betting site encouraging you to gamble. The reward for that one is 3 gems.

Disgraceful. Absolutely disgraceful.

Wow...I ll admit the Zoosk thing was weird but getting gems as a reward for betting...yikes! I am going to hope that the expected age range on this game is over 16 then rather than younger. 

I dont know enough about GL to judge whether they perhaps offer such rewards across all games...i.e. is it really a game specific thing or just that no matter the game you are playing, William Hill have bought the right to offer promotional benefits.

I had the same issue.  I can only play on my boy friends phone and well it crashed and would no longer open so it had to be re installed. 

Is there any way to move a pony??

Nope. Basically, you just drop a house over the pony and hope s/he comes back in a hot air balloon

As for the iPhone/iPad irrecoverable crash issue, file a report. It's happening to a lot of folks, I myself got bitten once on my iPad1.

The app is apparently pulling in ads based on the player's region. I'm not getting ads for gambling sites (understandable, since online gambling is apparently illegal over here), but it's flooding me with ads for Tapjoy >.<

Well, either way, I think this is just wrong. GameLoft needs to know that we don't want gambling or shopping sites advertised on this app.

Btw, I'm sorry to say this, but I'm starting to find it very time consuming for me to visit each town on my list and drop a treasure chest- it can take me a good two hours to do so on both my iPads, and is bound to get worse as the number of friends on my list grows. From now on all I'll be doing is just using the gift all button to drop a gift to the inboxes. However, if you're stuck on a quest that requires you to receive chests, I am willing to try to visit your town to drop off chests until you're done with the quest.

I'm sorry, but with my friends list growing fast, I can't keep up anymore. Furthermore on weekdays I am playing the game during my free time at work, and well, I have to commit to my work if some jobs come in while I'm playing, and trying to visit every single town adds to the burden.

I hope everyone is okay with getting only one gem instead of two (or if you're on both my iPads, two gems instead of four). As I mentioned, I will still drop by towns to help out with chest quests if you need help- just send me a PM. But I just can't keep up with dropping by every single town on my friends list anymore.
