GAA! Delay in the new Jem dolls..

Did anyone else preorder any of the new Jem dolls by Integrity?   They were SUPPOSED to ship in November-  first I heard Nov. 17th then "the end of Nov"  -  now,  early December!  There had better not be any more delays!!!!

I... cannot..... wait !!!


I am also tormented by the possibility that they will announce presales for the next set, and I might be spacing out or too busy at work to check-  and I will miss out !!!

I didn't order any of them, though I was VERY tempted by Jerrica and Synergy.  Oddly enough, I like the look of Jerrica WAY more than I do Jem, lol

I haven't been keeping a close eye on these:(  Have they been selling out quickly or the pre-orders filling up quickly or however you say it   How quickly do you need to jump on these?  I would love to own these, but I'm an "all or nothing" kinda girl, and there's no way I could afford them all!  So nothing it is:(  I do like looking at them, though:)

I would be all over these if they weren't so expensive! I'll just stick with getting the originals. I am kicking myself for not grabbing an Aja in wonderful condition with all her accessories at a toy fair the moment I got there. She was gone by the time my boyfriend and I were leaving. :'( I need to get good conditioned Jem dolls. Especially ones with clothes. lol

The dolls are definitely expensive- but of course they were marketed exclusively to collectors- not as toys- so there just weren't that many made.  I think something like 750-1000 of each (which sounds like a lot but really is not).   Limited numbers/higher quality/ and extreme detailing = higher production costs.

Despite the high price, these dolls sold out a lot faster than I think Integrity ever anticipated...

These are beautiful! I didn't even know they were making these! I've been watching on Netflix lately. I loved Jem when I was a little girl.

The Jem cartoon was even pretty cute!   Alas, I tried watching Thundercats (another favorite from when I was a kid) - and was appalled at the dialogue and stories- so idiotic!  I guess you just don't notice these things when you are 6

I think the one I preordered was $125ish.  I forget the specifics and am still waiting her arrival.

On ebay they go really high which is really sad.

Her eyes are so awesome.  They aren't just blank.  They have detail, but in shades of white.  It is awesome.

Jem isn't quite as Jem like as I think she should be. They toned her hair and make up down a bit too much IMO.

Fantastic!  I have Jerrica and Synergy- waiting on the rest.  I think Jem will need some hair restyling-  the dolls coming out of the package look a bit out of sorts!


I just love the details with these dolls- the shoes, earrings, even the box!
