So I guess I have to suffer from hoof in mouth for posting I "won" a glow-y princess from that UK seller

I was originally so happy she'd been contacted by whoever to tell her that pony in the lot was rare and to list her separate and I couldn't believe my luck in winning...

until a baby sun hat showed up in the mail instead

So now I have ABSOLUTELY NO CONTACT FROM SELLER when I asked if it was a simple mix-up, I'd be happy to forward to correct buyer if same would happen for my mis-sent item = it happens, we are all human.  And then I wondered if maybe she didn't want to part with a childhood toy, and so I wrote again saying that was not a problem for me to cancel the sale = if I'd been messaged I would've gladly worked with the seller = heck, I get I wouldn't want anyone to regret selling a childhood memory as it's not like she can be bought at the local poundshop these days...

NO CONTACT at all

I put in a claim thinking that will get a message

Seller just escalates to resolve thru ebay with no commentary ( I call ebay support as I am just so not dealing with the "not knowing why" of all this mess so I got the tech to confirm there is no comment, just a request to escalate)

So now my paranoid side says this was done on purpose as a scam... I will obviously go through all the steps to photograph, return with tracking and provide all the information to ebay yadda yadda but man, it just sucks the whole not knowing  = "why"?

but hey, glad it's not like I had a house fire or a car wreck or a serious calamity... but just needed to share a bit

so if you all have some stories = I am hoping to use my now soon-to-be-free funds to purchase FROM AN ARENA MEMBER ;-) so at least I am focusing on the rainbow after the rain = but I'm up for reading more if you are willing to share

Oh man that must suck for you! Sorry you're going through this with an ebay seller. If she isn't making any attempt to communicate with you on why you got the wrong pony then I'd go with the claim and leave appropriate feedback for her when all is said and done. Glad you're looking on the bight side though and hugs to you. I hope another glow princess shows up for you soon.

Ooh be sure and post her e-bay account over in Trader Support so she can be put on the bad trader list. This all sounds very sketchy. Can e-bay cancel someone's account for doing something like this and then not answering communication?

OMG, was that the glowing hair Royal Blue that sold a few weeks ago?  Yeah, that seller had a sketchy reputation.  I wanted to bid and sent some inquiries, but she wasn't very responsive.

ah = good point about trader support  = will do =  although I don't think of this seller as a pony seller, but better folks here avoid as they should

and yah, it was the glow-y from early August auction - sure there were some others of us watching/bidding... so just sayin' so folks here know what happened to that "sale"

and that's a good question PonyRN - but from the boilerplate I got sent from ebay, looks like i should just be grateful to only be out for mail costs.

but yeah, I'll post with pics and other info so folks know to avoid heavenlee-fashion if they ever consign/try to sell  more MLP ...

oh -sorry you are not thick = the seller usually sells kids' clothes = so I didn't get a MLP = I got a blue baby floppy hat like you put on to protect them at the beach or something - which, believe me I am feeling stupid I even signed for as it obviously was a "too squishy" package to contain a pony...

 I was so not thinking when the post man handed it over to me at the time - ah well, live an' learn

Oh no, sorry to hear that I've had sellers do similar things to be before, when I've won them for a good price (not obscenely good, just decent). In the two that came to mind, I had to put in claims  for them, but both sellers just refunded without any discussion/input, which is what makes me think they never posted
