Pearl or Matte?

Which finish do you prefer on ponies?


Personally, I'm a matte gal.

I think it just depends on the pony. I dont really have a preference but i know there are some ponies that just wouldnt look right with the pearl finish.

Matte. I have a few pearlized baby sea ponies, and they're OK, I like them, but I like the matte finish better.

I prefer matte, but it's nice to have some variation within a herd! So pearl is still awesome to me.

Matte, easier to photograph. Not as many light reflections to worry about.

Matte. I don't like how the vintage ones went right over the eyes. I think the G4s should do it, eyes MASKED, once though. It would be a way to shake things up and it's not like they haven't pearlized the prototypes.

Any pony that isn't pearly or glittery is considered matte finish.  Star Swirl is matte.
