Hi, everypony!

Has anyone ever saw an unusual 35th Anniversary MLP figure that pays homage to Netflix's Stranger Things? If not, here she is. Applejack paying homage to Netflix's highest rated show Stranger Things

Pony Corral / That stubborn bridle from the 35th Anniversary Pretty Parlor.
« on: December 27, 2018, 11:29:24 AM »
It's great collecting MLP, the ones I grew up with from the 80s'. The 35th Anniversary versions are the best. And that includes the Pretty Parlor remake with Peachy and Twinkles (the Custard mold version). But I have only one small complaint - the bridle.  That stubborn bridle I often have a hard time putting it on Peachy's head. Most of the time I got it to hook up just fine, other times I don't. Today I had to have use tweezers to try to pull the bridle together when I tried to put the bridle on Peachy again.

I even tried boiling the plastic bridle in water for a minute or two to make it soft, a bit stretchable and easy for me to wrap around the pony's head since the bridle is made from firm plastic. But it still won't go around Peachy's head all the way.

I think that the hard plastic heads of the ponies are what makes it hard for the bridle to attach itself to the pony's head. You have to squeeze the pony's head to get the bottom part of the bridle to hook onto the latch. But it's a bit difficult with the ponies' bodies made from a much different kind of plastic than the soft plastic originals.

What Basic Fun should've done is make the bridle a little bit bigger so it'll be much easier for me to put the bridle onto the heads of all the ponies instead of just Peachy.

To those of you who have the 35th Anniversary version of the Pretty Parlor, how do you manage to fit the bridle onto Peachy's head without pulling your hair out and wreaking the pony's head?

Pony Corral / Meijer is now selling Retro MLP!
« on: September 07, 2018, 01:48:11 PM »
Today I went over to my local Meijer store and looked around the store for clearance sales. Low and behold in the toy section I saw two 35th Anniversary MLP in stock at the MLP section! YAY!! I was thrilled! Before that, I felt frustrated because I wanted to buy all of the retro ponies available but they were not as widely available as they should and there's no Target store found anywhere where I live. But after I saw them at my local Meijer store I begin to feel a whole lot better about shopping for retro MLP. I hope that my local Wal*Mart store will do the same thing and sell retro MLP so I can shop for them without a problem.

I bought Minty, but unfortunately, I had to leave Blue Belle behind because I didn't have enough money to buy both ponies and I had to get other things at the store. But I am planning on coming back to the store and buy her if she's still there probably tomorrow.

Have you felt the hair of your 35th Anniversary versions of MLP and notice how very soft they are? I have. Yesterday I received Cotton Candy in the main and felt her mane and tail and notice how very soft they are. Much softer than the original versions of the pony.

She's very beautiful.

Did anyone also notice that her bow is attached to her tail through a rubber band, too?

Off Topic / For those who love harp music like Lyra Heartstrings
« on: August 29, 2013, 07:02:26 PM »
Hope you don't mind me posting this here. I got a Indiegogo Campaign where I'm trying to raise funds to purchase a concert grand pedal harp to better my harp skills and become a professional harpist. Like Lyra Hearstrings, I'm a harpist, a amateur harpist who only owns a small 26stringed lap harp that can never cover most pieces such as Stairway to Heaven like the large concert grand harp can. I've been wanting to own a concert grand harp for a long time ever since I was a little pony. I've been struggling to raise funds to afford the concert harp due to the harp being so, so expensive!!! Whether new or used concert grand harps cost between $10,000 to a whopping $250,000!!  No, kidding! Those are the exact prices of any concert harp there is whether they're new or used!

So, because of the high prices of the harps, I went ahead and created an Indiegogo campaign to raise $10,000 for purchasing a concert harp for my very own and I would like to ask everypony here who loves beautiful harp music to come help raise funds and make my campaign "A Concert Grand Harp for Sherry Konkus" a complete success.

Here's the link.
