The Dollhouse / porcelain doll question
« on: May 26, 2012, 05:11:34 PM »
Hi, I have a large amount of porcelain dolls from avon.  My grandmother gave them to me growing up and I am afraid I never really had an interest in them. I am looking to clear them out as I really don't have room for them. Is there any good way of maybe putting them up for sale? I am not sure about listing them on eBay, or if it might be better to do etsy or crater or something like that...

Any thoughts?

Hi everyone, I was wanting some opinions to help me out.

I have a good collection of porcelain dolls from Avon that I was given by my grandmother over the years. I am looking to start selling them, I have never really had an interest for them and I am looking to free up space...so my question is this,

Where should I list them? I am not feeling like eBay would be good for this, and I know there are places like ecrater and etsy...so any thoughts?

Thanks

I suggest that you should try to keep on top of it. If you call eBay and get one support member, ask for supervisor. Make someone listen to you. Shipping does NOT mean a made up expenditure list. If she wants to charge extra for such things she should have started the bid at the cost of covering those things, (which is obviously bogus charges).

Make sure you talk to an eBay support supervisor and tell them you have the entire conversation, make them calculate the shipping to prove her fraud...good luck

Greetings all, I am new to the arena. Some may know me from the trading post under the same Handel, but for those I have yet to meet, hiya!

I grew up with the original mlps, but over the years I lost all but milkyway. I got back into MP by buying the g4 for my two daughters. I started looking for original mlps when my youngest turned 3 for a bday gift and bought her a cotton candy. Then my eldest wanted these pretty and big ponies so i bought her an apple Jack (who is also her fave from g4)...now I am a MP nut. I am starting by getting my hands on the original big brothers and their accessories, and I am almost there, just need one more bandana for steamer, yeah.

So once again hi and nice to meet all of you!
