Basic Fun 2023 New Releases: Celestials! RaMC Figures! Plushies! Etc!

I'm getting mixed up with the Celestials - help me out please - which ones have variants? I know Nova has white vs pink stripes but what are the others? Has anyone made a comparison guide or whatever? I checked MLW but they don't seem to have articles for the Celestials at all

Don't quote me on this, but I think I read on Facebook that Polaris has been seen with pink stripes, but I can't find anything confirming that. I might be thinking of something else though.     I ordered Polaris from Amazon in January and mine has white stripes.  I don't know if she's darker though since I don't have a second Polaris to compare her with.

Doing a Google search, a Trading Post link came up that mentions the second run of Polaris is a bit darker than the original one.   

I know at least one Celestial pony has been found in the wrong box. I think it was 2 different ponies in Milky Way boxes.

Had a peek on Five Little Diamonds & the new plushies are still marked pre-order, but I DID get the pearly set. It's since arrived & the Ponies are cute & the pearly sheen is lovely. Mini Glory is great too, & I think I'm keeping that box. It's so cute

Polaris had dropped to $14.95 on Amazon.ca for a day or so.  By the time I got around to wanting to ask to buy it, it hd gone back up to $15.95.  I mean... I know that's not much difference but it was the principle of the matter!  LOL

Is it the white striped version of Nova that was changed?  The one I just got from Amazon has white stripes.

Yes, white stripe Nova was the original, then they changed her to have pink stripes. That's interesting you got a white striped one, I thought Amazon would've sold them all by now.

I was surprised too.  I thought that I'd probably get a pink striped Nova.   It looks like there's a layer of paint missing on her symbol though.

Some people in Canada are finding the Twilight, Applejack and Medley plush in Walmart.

I also noticed today that the brushes with the Celestial ponies matches their mane/tail colors.

Question for the people in the countries where the blind boxes have been released: how well are they doing you reckon? (I'm keeping my hopes up for a 1986 movie themed set!)

I still hope Basic Fun reconsiders axing the flutters. I was thinking that - if sold separately instead of in a 3-pack - these may have been the best selling set of the retro line: I'm going by the assumption that many collectors would have picked up several ponies to get replacement wings for their vintage flutters. Thoughts?

I live in the UK and I saw the blind boxes for sale in a Morrisons supermarket which I thought was cool!

I would've definitely bought the flutter ponies so I do hope they reconsider.

I also would have totally bought the Flutter Ponies if BF had made them. 
I get so tired of the excuse that retailers make that, "they won't sell!"  because YES, if you don't stock them, they won't sell!  tell that to the makers of Funko POPS!  or the LOL Surprise dolls.

I have only seen the blind boxes down in Epsom. They aren't here

I am fine with no flutters, honestly. It looked like they were going to make the wings thicker...and if they didn't do that, they'd be super delicate so not so suitable for kids (it has to be viable for both markets in order to sell).

BUT that said, all my flutters have wings, albeit some have been repaired. So maybe I'm not the right person to ask. I would have bought a Tropical Breeze if one had been made, just because childhood pony. But I'm not really worried about that.

I'd rather have the baby ponies, or, honestly, Powder.
