It's always the worst when your favorite Pokemon's shiny looks bad

I think some of the shinies would have been cooler if they'd just inverted the colors.  Leafeon, for example, is REALLY pretty with inverted colors.  But some are just boring and almost unnoticeable, like shiny Pikachu.  Inverted Pikachu is blue with white ear tips, similar to male meowstic and inverted male meowstic has pikachu colors.  Shiny pikachu is light orange, like maybe 2 shades off from the yellow the normal pikachu is.  That makes it hard to even notice a difference.
