Oooh Desert Rose! New one on me, I'd love to get her - so pretty.

I don't know much about these Mexican G3s, what are they like? :what:

they're tiny! like almost size of gen 3 mcdonalds toys. the hair is quite thin & situated in a single line where the two halves of the pony connect when they manufacture them... it's real weird. they're made of a very hard plastic.
the accessories they come with are kinda cute but the hair clips, if they come with any are fragile. i tried to fold one of them to put on the ponies hair & it seemed as if it would snap in half right there... so i stopped messing with it

would love her someday! maybe not her set though. the birthday celebration with sweetberry set is much nicer, to me anyways :)

Pony Corral / Re: Sticky ponies
« on: April 23, 2023, 12:17:58 PM »
i may be wrong, but to me this sounds like plasticizer leakage. over time plasticizer, the stuff they use to make the ponies vinyl squishy, can leech out and create a sticky feeling with g1's. same happens with g3's. its part of the aging process for some ponies  >_<

your best course of action really would be to just wash them periodically with soap (dish soap is best) & water like you usually would and that can keep the stuff at bay for awhile. be warned it can come back though, because theres not really a cure for it. it'll keep happening til it can't leech anymore.
be sure to keep them a good distance away from non-sticky ponies. best of luck!

Off Topic / Re: Redbubble artists, what are you going to do...?
« on: April 22, 2023, 10:31:09 PM »
i don't use redbubble for any sales- but i have bought off of it once in the past. don't think i'll be doing that anymore. :| i fully support anyone looking to make a move over to any other site- such as etsy as that's usually where i buy off of if i'm looking for something that was designed by somebody else. redbubble is already hard to navigate, the prices are weird... and now this.

artists are being under attack so much lately, and i sure hope it dies down... eventually.
