Pony Corral / Re: Hiding the fact that you're a brony in public.

I get embarrassed when I'm rooting through the toys in charity shops, hunting for any G1s, but I figure people will just think I'm buying for a cousin or other child. Really though, I'd rather get the pony even if people think I'm weird, than go without but be normal in the eyes of people I probably wont see again.

Why thank you!

I shall try, but no promises. Zombie Plush has been starved for quite some time.

Introductions / Hello, I'm new here...

Well hello, I'm Susan, 19 and a Law Uni undergraduate from England.

Actively, I've only been collecting for little under a year, however, most of my ponies I've owned since I was a little girl. I only collect G1 and have around 147 of them now; I also have a larger collection of G3 which I aggressively hoarded as a child, but no longer seek them out.

Here is my somewhat display, right next to my shoe collection as I'm a woman of many passions.

Till last year they were living inside a box on top of a wardrobe. I'd take them out every year or so for the nostalgia, however, I recently noticed that the box was rusting and the ponies were getting stained, rust marks on their hair and bent legs from being squished together so long. I decided to clean them up and put them on display (as they deserve), to make up for the years of neglect.

My favourite pony is Bouquet. I just think she's incredibly beautiful,

As well as her appointed boyfriend (since I'm a hopeless romantic and like pairing my ponies off) Chief. I got him from Ebay, somebody had given him a Mohawk and though I intend to re-root him at some point, I have to admit he looks pretty cool.

I also have two love-to-hate / hate-to-love ponies;

These creepy creatures, which seem to be after my soul. One of them has an eye that doesn't always open fully, just one... which adds to the distress. :shocked:

As well as my zombie plush, with its mouth open it even looks ravenous for brains.
