I'm really considering having my husband buy me the I <3 Fashion sets at TRU, and then just selling the dolls (well, Abby anyway).  I have a severe lack of clothes for these girls.

My TrU Stocked up on the I <3 Fashion sets...I was tempted to get Frankie...Kinda still wanna go back for it.  They had probably close to a hundred of each!  But alas...none of the new dolls have surfaced here at all :(
~Feel free to remind me to leave you feedback!  I'm forgetful!~

So, I just read that the Ghouls Alive dolls come with saddle-styled stands. I wonder if maybe they'll switch all stands to these in the future, or if it's just to accommodate the electronic features on this line only?.
I have no idea what a saddle-style stand is

Also, from the previous thread: Jinafire definitely has some blessings that the others ghouls don't. I thought it was just her outfit, but looking again, it is something more....
I snapped some quick photos for reference:

I'm not interested in most of the new dolls that are out now or coming out. Especially since I mostly collect Lagoonas and Cleos, but I collect a few random dolls that I find gorgeous every now and then.

I wish Mattel would just make a pack of shoes to sell separately. I know they've done this for Barbie because I saw set of shoes for those Back to Basics dolls. I bet they'd sell really well.

Something like this:
http://www.tonnerdoll.com/tonner-wardrobe/saddle-stand

The doll sort of sits on the stand, rather than the stand clasping at the waist. It would be great for dolls with wings, since they seem to get a bit in the way of the standard MH stand designs, and would avoid any risk of their outfits possibly wearing down.

Hrm....I am wary of this  it seems like any posing would be out of the question and they'd have to be standing up stick straight with both feet planted firmly on the ground to stay in place. I don't think i like that at all. i just don't see how it will keep them in place well.

I'd rather have to keep their feet on the ground than them practically falling back because of how the stands are structured now. Added to the fact all the stands I seem to get are defective and the pole doesn't stay in the base :<

THIS.  I've been pondering gluing all my stands and bases together.

Oooo new thread!!

I suppose I wouldn't mind a saddle stand, the stands they have right now can really get on my nerves. Especially when the slightest shake to the base of the stand makes the pole come out and knocks the doll over which then takes out 5 other dolls, my shelves are a little spacially challenged at the moment.
