Need advice on sale. Resolved! Delete please!

Hi everybody
  I'm lookin for some advice. I bought two ponies from darknessunisousboy on January 19th. They had sent me a message saying that they had some of my wants on thier sales website and I sent payment for the two ponies plus shipping through PayPal. I have not gotten any response since then and they havn't been on the arena in a week. What should I do? Should I get a refund through PayPal?  I know not everyone gets on the arena as often as I do but they would have seen that I paid through thier paypal. I'm hoping that life just got in the way and I will be hearing from them soon.  Does anyone have recent experience with this member?

It's only been 10 days, usually I give it 2 weeks or so before worrying.  There was just that big storm last weekend; it may have slowed down the mail?

But that's no excuse for cutting off contact. Hopefully you can work it out with the mods and shadowlark if you don't hear anything.

thank you for the advice. I usually don't worry about a package being late cuz I know how bad the post office can be sometimes. The lack of contact just worries me. I will definitely give it a while longer and hope to hear from them I just rewlly wanted to know how long is too long.

I am very sorry to hear this, as there has been problems in the past with slow shipping and spotty communication.

My suggestion to you at this point is to send her a PM titled "Urgent Message" with the details of your transaction. I would also give her a deadline to respond or you will be opening a case on Paypal against her. I honestly would like to tell you to go ahead right now and open the case, due to her past issues but I will give the benefit of the doubt.

    I can only say the same as everyone else  here . Normally I'd be saying give it longer since it has been less than a few weeks, especially with the weather ..... but that is still no excuse for no communication, and given the past issues with this seller, it  makes me feel not so optimistic either.  Sometimes RL gets in the way though so I wouldn't open a case before you do the "Urgent Response" Pm as ponylady suggested and see if she starts communicating with you again.  Choose what you feel is sufficient time for her to respond - say 48 hours etc - perhaps give it until the weekend is over. You might also want to send the same message to her email addy since she has not been on the Arena for a while  (her email you used to do the paypal payment )  If she still doesn't respond by then/ you still don't have your ponies , then open a case .

Thank you everyone for the advice  I got a message today from the seller with a tracking number so hopefully I will have the ponies soon.
