Hello everyone!
It's the time of year again.....you may now start signing up for my unofficial comp, the 12 Days of Christmas drawing contest!
Hopefully you all know the rules by now. If you want to take part, leave a post in here or PM me and let me know which day you'd like me to put you down for.
Then you have until the set date (mentioned below) to draw a picture involving MLP for that day in the 12 Days of Christmas song.
Here are some basic rules anyhow:
1. Sign-ups close on Tuesday, 1st November. So you have about two weeks.
2. Once you've signed-up, you may get started.
3. ALL pictures must involve MLP, they can be any generation, real MLP's or your own personas/characters.
4. Drawing can be in whichever medium you choose eg: Pen, crayon, digital, charcoal etc.
5. When finished, either PM them to me on here or email me at: [email protected]
6. The closing date for ALL pics to be back to me is: Monday 5th December.
7. Public voting will then take place from Tuesday 6th December - Wednesday 14th December.
8. NO posting your pictures here or anywhere else online until AFTER the voting had been completed.
9. I will then announce the winner and hopefully get your prize to you by Christmas Day, or early New Year!

Ooh! I haven't decided yet if I'm going to enter the 12 days comp yet... I did want to ask if there would be a christmas carol based one again this year though? ^^ both themes are always so fun

Bump. Hope everyone is progressing. :P I can't believe November is almost over and we're hitting the deadline soon. I've got my sketch and rough colours out, but I need to crack down and work on my entry.
Can't wait to see everyone's art.

Eep! I keep considering backing out as I just have no motivation :yikes:
I have a very rough sketch set out, it likely won't be my best work this year. I just never feel like drawing these days.

Got my sketch done... need to find the motivation to finish! Glad I'm going for something a little simpler this year than last years drawing.

Glad to see I'm not the only one lagging behind though, I hear you both on the motivation thing. I just feel like doodling OCs these days rather than focus on 'quality' line work and painting. If we keep each other motivated, I know we can all meet the deadline.

I won't ruin by showing you now, but I apologize in advance for the colors on my piece. My scanner turned some of my colors more pink and it now it doesn't match my pony in real life.

Ugh, I'm so behind. I've been so inspired to draw my OCs and I just didn't want to kill that groove. Trying to grind work on this now, but I think, overall, I'm going to have to simplify to meet the deadline. :(
I'm also feeling really dumb right now. I was colouring my pony, and had the revelation that the pony I chose wasn't the species I drew it as. :facepalm: The species is more important for my idea, but luckily I have a backup pony to switch in.
